HOW TO AVOID TIREDNESS.
We need to live well-balanced lives
with work and leisure having their fair share. Most of us go along with the old
saying. ‘All work and no play make Jack a dull boy. But remember , also that
all play and no work can have a similar effect. If we are not interested in our
work, if we are not interested in our work, if we are only there for money and
the only day we look forward t is pay day, the chances are we get tired easily
because we are bored with ourselves and our lives.
It may not be possible for us to do
what we like. May be, our work is merely routine or part of some vast
production complex . perhaps we are unable to regard it as offering valuable
service to the community . fair enough if that is how we really feel. If you
cannot change your work, and if it makes you more tired than it should because
it is dull and routine, have your explored the possibility of compensating for it in your leisure?
But our leisure can become as dull
and routine as work, in the sense that we continue to do the same old things.
We go around with the same kind of people and spend our time and money
indulging in the same type of pleasure and it is no surprising that we end up
tired and bored. If we want it to be different we have to discover and develop
of ourselves one or two definite interests of our own interest renews energy
and refreshes the mind.
We can avoid tiredness by going
along at a reasonable steady pace and stopping before we reach the point of
exhaustion . we get tired very fast when we try to stick to a rigid programmed
of doing much and finishing it immediately, if it is a long job or something
difficult it is better to tackle it in stages. Make it your policy to allow for
the possible interruption and avoid all the tension and inward agitation.
Organize yourself so that you have a little time and hand. Then you can keep
your cool mind and reserve you energy
The art of living wisely I sot be
sensible about rest, sleep and relaxation on a rare occasion. It may be
necessary to have to work into the small hours . but if you make this habit,
you will be living in a state of chronic tiredness.
If you want to go to sleep easily
and wake up refreshed, beware of stimulating your mind before sleep,. To make a
habit of watching late-night thriller and fight film on television or to become
involved in last minute discussion and argument or to quarrel and get
emotionally upset, makes the mind over active, instead of relaxing you go on
thinking about it and it keeps you awake. Then sleep is likely to be shallow
and interrupted by restless dreams . to avoid tiredness during the day you need
to allow yourself sufficient rest at night. Give yourself a fair chance of it
by retiring in a quiet , peaceful mood. .
If you want to avoid worry and
tension , get your priorities right and deal with them fist . if you keep
putting them off, you will end up forgetting something important.
Do not try to do too much and too
many things at once, it is useful and often necessary to be able to distribute
one’s attention over things but do not desperately try to get it all done fast
. Avoid a spirit of completion with other people Discourage the urge to be
better than the rest . trying to please, to be popular and to outdo the rest
makes us these and tired.
The way to be happy as well as less
tired is to take life as it comes and do your best with it.
Horse Language
The horse has been associated with
many expressions. To eat like a horse is to consume a lot. but to work like a
horse is a compliment. It means hard working . A horse laugh is a loud horse laugh for silly trivial reason. Horse play is
rough, terrible and indecent fighting.
Horse trading refers to unprincipled
methods adopted by politicians to get majority to a political party. To put the
cart before the horse means dealing with affairs in utter confusion. To look
the gifts horse in the mouth is when we they to examine the worth of anything
given to us as free gift. It is bad taste and ill-grace to examine the vale of
a gift. It is the measuring the rice give as charity to see if the correct
measurer is given.
To horse is a military command to
mount and charge. To flog it dead horse is to mercilessly punish a persons
who is down and out . it is the willing
horse that is always whipped . a willing worker is given more work while the
laze one is let off.
To hide the rough horse or to rid
the high horse means to put on airs and be harsh. A dark horse is a person
whose potentialities like hidden and unrevealed. A horse man refers to a
skilful rider. We often her of horse power or h.p. with reference to the engine
hp. Is a unit rate of power.
Life is no brief candle to me. I its
a sort of splendid torch and I want to make it bur as brightly as possible
before handing it o to the future generation.
Live
with all your might, as long as life has been granted.
To be able to look back upon one’s
past life with satisfaction. Is to live twice.
Living the Easy Life
Living the easy life Is not easy it
is easy to understand how difficult it can be to make what is difficult easy .
Believe it.
Love Does Not Argue
Lilies do not argue-they bloom!
Spring times does not argue; it comes! Music does not argue-it sigs!Beauty does
not argue-it points; Love does not argue-it outlives our grief’s.
Qoute from the true charm and power
of Vedanta
Acoording to Advaita, therefore the
idea of the soul as universal, unchangeable, and immortal can be demonstrated
as far as possible. The difficulty would be as regards the particular. What
shall we do with the old dualistic theories which have such a hold upon us, and
which we have all to pass through-these beliefs in limited , little individual
souls?
We have seen that we are immortal
with regard to the whole; but the difficulty is we, desire so much to be
immortal as parts of the whole. When have seen that we are infinite, and that
that I sour real individuality. But we want so much to make these little souls.
Individual . what becomes of them when we find in our everyday experience that
these little souls are individuals, with only this reservations that they are continuously
growing individuals? They are the same, yet no the same. The I of yesterday is
the I of today, and yet not so, it is changed somewhat. Now, by getting rid of
the dualistic conception. That in the midst of all these changes there is
something that does not change, and taking the most modern of conception, that
of evolution, we find that the ‘I’ is continuously changing expanding entity.
It is by the will of God , that
everything happens in this world . We forget this truth and happily ascribe our
name to it.
In the treasury of your heart are
lying millions of priceless gem. Compared to that divine wealth, worldly riches
and wealth are absolutely worthless.
