THINK NO EVIL: Embracing Wisdom and Overcoming Worry

THINK NO EVIL: Embracing Wisdom and Overcoming Worry

Embracing Wisdom:

Education and knowledge are distinct from wisdom, which stems from a mindset of not harboring ill thoughts toward anyone, anywhere, or at any time. This principle of right action is grounded in three key practices: seeing no evil, hearing no evil, and speaking no evil. Each individual possesses an inherent capacity for wisdom, akin to a mental light bulb of varying wattage—be it 30, 60, 90, or even 700 watts. Fulfilling our responsibilities involves utilizing our mental "bulb" to its capacity, ensuring its cleanliness to minimize energy loss. By performing what we can and a bit more within our capacity, we fulfill our duty.

Strategies for Overcoming Worry:

1.   Acceptance:   Recognize that anxiety is a natural facet of life, and experiencing worry doesn't set one apart from others.

  2.   Time Management:   Allocate a specific time to address worries, limiting the extent to which they consume your thoughts.

  3.   Problem Solving:   Confront issues honestly during the designated worry time, taking action where possible. If no immediate solution exists, postpone dwelling on it until action can be taken.

  4.   Perspective:   Keep worry in perspective, acknowledging it as just one aspect of life.

5.   Gratitude:   Cultivate gratitude by focusing on things for which you are thankful.

  6.   Outward Focus:   Redirect thoughts toward external matters and other individuals.

  7.   Trust in Higher Power:   Find solace in the belief in a higher power, recognizing that strength is readily available when needed.

Religion: The Exact Science of Cultivating Clarity

RELIGION: Beyond Superstition and Dogma, a Personal Science of Experience

Religion is not a mere belief or superstition; it transcends dogma and necessitates personal experience. Unlike science, which operates through collective and objective inquiry, religious experimentation delves far deeper into the individual realm. In the profound exploration of meditation, the transformative process is intimate and personal, with no external witnesses. Although others may perceive a change in you, the mysterious nature of this transformation eludes their understanding.

Just as in the realm of love, where the experiencer comprehends the depth of emotion, religion, especially in prayer and meditation, surpasses even love's profundity. Yet, amidst contemporary assertions that label religion as superstitious or dogmatic, it is crucial to recognize that religion is, in essence, a science. This understanding holds true not for organized religions like Christianity or Hinduism but for individuals like Buddha, Jesus, and Krishna. The truly religious are those who venture beyond conditioned beliefs, exploring the depths of truth independently.

The Buddha's guidance emphasizes the rejection of blind belief. He urges disciples to refrain from unquestioning acceptance, advocating that true understanding arises only through personal knowledge. Genuine religious seekers demonstrate a daring spirit, a profound thirst for truth that surpasses social formalities. The essence of religion lies in its meticulous science, fostering clarity, perceptiveness, and transparency within one's being. Through this precision, individuals gain the ability to perceive reality as it is, unveiling the essence of godliness without the need for external proofs. In the world of religious experience, self-evidence reigns supreme, surpassing the need for belief.

I drive joy there was a doctor in Benaras who spent 7 minutes in the morning and evening for mediation on God. Knowing this, his colleagues and friends laughed at him. One day they argued that he was wasting 7 precious minutes on something, which he had been misled into believing. "Realizing the Spiritual Essence: Renunciation, Meditation, and Liberation

"Realizing the Spiritual Essence: Renunciation, Meditation, and Liberation"

In our quest for true spirituality, we must embrace the practical aspects of religion. All else is valuable only if it leads us to the grand idea of realizing the spirit as spirit. This realization can be attained through renunciation and meditation, shedding the ties that bind us to the material world. I yearn for something beyond material and sensory pleasures—a higher purpose. That is the essence of renunciation. By harnessing the power of meditation, we can break free from the chains that nature imposes upon us.

We find ourselves at the mercy of nature's whims. If there is a sound outside, we must hear it. If something is happening, we must witness it. Like curious monkeys, we are constantly engrossed in the world around us. This enjoyment is inherent in our nature; we cannot resist it. Nature compels us to indulge in its wonders—an enchanting melody fills my ears, as if I have a choice in hearing it or not!

Nature commands us to delve into the depths of misery, and in an instant, we become miserable. We speak of the pleasures of the senses and material possessions, but in truth, one man may perceive me as learned while another deems me a fool. This degradation, this enslavement, occurs while we remain ignorant in a dark room, aimlessly colliding with one another.

In our pursuit of spiritual liberation, let us embrace the path of renunciation and meditation. Only then can we break free from the chains of sensory pleasures and material attachments. Let us seek the true essence of our being and embark on a journey towards enlightenment.

"Rise of Spiritual Travel in Post-Covid India: A Path to Inner Peace and Restoration"

Post Covid, travel in India is reaching unprecedented levels, with a notable surge in spiritual travel. Today's Indians are embracing spiritual journeys, driven by their religious and spiritual inclinations. The quest for inner peace and rejuvenation has become a significant motivation, leading people to explore holy places, temples, ashrams, and meditation centers that facilitate their spiritual growth.

The pent-up desire to travel, often referred to as 'Revenge Travel,' coupled with a renewed focus on mental and spiritual well-being, has fueled this trend over the past two years. In 2023, nearly 65% of Indian travelers are expected to seek spiritual stays, including meditation and mindfulness retreats. Furthermore, around 63% of people are seeking silent retreats, indicative of the growing prominence of spiritual and religious tourism in India. This trend is not only driving India's travel recovery but also attracting international tourists seeking spiritual experiences within the country.

Several destinations have experienced a significant upsurge in spiritual travel. Places like Amaravati and Srisailam in Andhra Pradesh, Dwarka and Somnath in Gujarat, the Golden Temple in Amritsar, and Yamunotri in Uttarakhand have witnessed a substantial increase in spiritual tourism. Lesser-known spiritual destinations like the Isha Yoga Centre and Auroville in Tamil Nadu have also observed significant growth in travel and tourism. Online bookings for such travel have surged by 45% in the past two years, with Adotrip alone receiving bookings from around 30,000 consumers and witnessing a 200% increase in religious travel queries over the past year.

The government has provided significant support and encouragement for spiritual tourism, focusing on renovating pilgrimage sites, developing transportation systems, generating employment, and facilitating tourism traffic growth. The infusion of approximately INR 20,000 crore to transform Ayodhya into a global city and a tourist hotspot by 2024 will further enhance national and international tourism in the coming years.

According to data released by the Ministry of Tourism, in 2022, domestic tourists visiting pilgrimage sites reached 1,433 million, while India welcomed 6.64 million foreign tourists. Religious tourism generated INR 1,34,543 crore in 2022, up from INR 65,070 crore in 2021. The majority of travelers fall within the 25-45 age group, with single women travelers constituting 22%.

A transformative trend in the growth of spiritual tourism is the increased interest from the Gen Z population. While partying and having fun once defined "cool" for youngsters, spirituality has now become the new cool. Influencers like Ranveer Allahabadia and other YouTubers play an instrumental role in actively promoting a meditative and clean lifestyle among the younger generation.

Over the next two years, the spiritual travel industry is projected to grow by 30-35%. Although spiritual and religious travel is on the rise in India, it remains an untapped market with immense potential to contribute to the country's economy. The government, hotels, and travel aggregators should collaborate to accelerate the growth of the religious travel and tourism industry, resulting in the emergence of more "praycations."

The Truth About the Soul: Reflection, Meditation, and Practical Religion

The Truth About the Soul: Reflection, Meditation, and Practical Religion

It is important to hear and reflect on the truth about the soul. Once you have heard it, take the time to meditate upon it and avoid vain arguments. If it is true that you are an infinite spirit, then it must be nonsense to believe that you are just a body. You are the Self, and this must be realized. The spirit must see itself as spirit, and the belief that it is a body must stop. The moment you begin to realize that you are the infinite spirit, you will be released.

In comparison, seeing a glass as an illusion is easy to accept, especially when scientists explain that it is simply light and vibration. Seeing the spirit as infinitely more real than anything else must be the only true state, the only true sensation, and the only true vision. All objects are but dreams, and this realization is supported not only by old idealists but also by modern physicists.

The practical religion is the realization of the spirit and seeing God. This is not what Christ preached as practical religion. When Christ said, "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven," he was not joking. The practical religion that you are thinking of involves serving the Lord Himself in the poor, the miserable, and the weak, as if it were worship. The result of this work is secondary, and doing it without any thought of gain or benefit for the soul is what brings the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. Good works, when done with a pure mind, involve serving others and helping those who cannot help themselves. Do not do good deeds to see your name in the papers or for any other selfish reason, but instead, do them for the sake of the Lord.

The Importance of Balancing Intellect and Emotion in Life

As a professional, I have always relied heavily on my intelligence, often viewing life through the lens of intellect alone. However, this one-sided approach can lead to a dull and unfulfilling existence, according to Osho.

The problem is not the use of intelligence but the neglect of emotion, which is often overlooked in our society. When we rely solely on one wing – either intellect or emotion – we experience frustration and miss out on the bliss that comes from using both wings in harmony.

Intelligence is crucial for exploring the depths of our potential, but it must be balanced with emotion to create a fulfilling life. Intellectual work alone can be superficial and unchallenging, leading to boredom and a lack of enjoyment. On the other hand, when we are challenged and have to respond with both intelligence and emotion, we experience a sense of accomplishment and bliss.

A person with a lopsided personality – one that relies solely on either intellect or emotion – cannot truly relax. Relaxation requires the redirection of energy to a different channel. When we continuously pursue intellectual pursuits without diverting our energy, we become overworked and bored.

The key is to provide alternative dimensions that allow us to use our energy in different ways. By balancing masculine and feminine modes of thinking – active and passive, intellectual and emotional – we can create a harmonious and integrated personality.

How to relax?

Monday 18h August 2014
How to relax?

Taking time to relax is very important in everyone’s daily life. Most of us do not have time to relax. We have other plans or have  been too busy with work, or just want to god to sleep after a long hard day.
This article will help you to relax.
The first step is quite simple. Take a nap . it is simple and very effective. It is way to learn how to relax. One does not have to take a long nap even a 20 minute nap is very effective. A nap will refresh you for the rest of the day. If you are tired, go and rest or simply take a nap. The midday drowsiness is a natural part of your body’s rhythm. You will find that a short afternoon nap is very restful. Sleeping is not necessary for a good nap lying down or just resting can be also effective.
Another very restful activity can be writing a daily journal of your thoughts. This an excellent way to relax and it may also help you examine problems that have been bothering you.
Keep a dream diary. Write every morning about what  you dreamed about. This will leave our feeling fresh for the day.
Listening to soothing sounds or even sounds of nature are also very relaxing and refreshing . taking a walk is very peasant and relaxing. A walk in the park or a walk to the store –any walk will let you ease your mind.
Another way to calm yourself is to listen to music you like. Wind chimes can also relax your body and your mind. Consider a nature video. National park videos are also very relaxing . take time off, a day or two to be with your family.
Allow yourself for a lazy time on the beach or at home.
Progressive relaxation is very effective to relax your mind and body. The way to do this is that first a quiet place to be all by yourself. Close your eyes and begin to tighten and untighten your fists for 3 times, over and over again. Hold them for 5 seconds then release . note the contractions between tension and relaxation. Next repeat this sequence with other body parts. For example your abdomen, your chest,  your toes and so on., try to limit each stretch to that bdoy part . concentrate on the pleasurable feeling.
Another  effective way is to take a nice warm bubble bath. Lie down in the tub and think nothing but the best things of life and just relax. Listen to the bird singing, or enjoy some soft music. Remember that a bath should be warm, not too hot.
To make your both even better, add some herbs or some bath salts. Practicing yoga and pranayama also help you to relax. You can also learn how to meditate and keep your body and mind in complete relaxation. The important thing to remember is that relaxation is very important in daily life your daily life. Your mind needs it as well as your body.
Best will come back to you
Life is an echo all come back; the good, the false, the true. So give to the world the best you can and the best will come back to you
Praise a friend in public and criticize in private.
Quote from the true Charm and power of Vedanta
Every devotee is inspired by this truth, when truly comprehended, that there is God’s grace available to him or her. That is what will carry him or her onward in life thereafter, in a beautiful and natural and rewarding blending of self-effort and Divine Grace, until blessing of Divine Grace engulfs the devotee
When people understand religion correctly as the science of total human unfoldment, they will realize , that there is no gulf between man’s secular life and man’s spiritual life . External and internal are only formal expressions,. Life or Reality knows no separation like this. What is external is also internal . Narayana the Indwelling Divine, says the Narayana Upanishad, exists filing the inside and the outside of man and the universe.
Atah bahica tat sarvarh
Vyapya narayanah sthitah.
So, when you are working in the world, you are working in and through Narayna Himself. You are not really away from Him. Vedanta says that God is both transcendent and immanent. He is within as well as without. Sri Ramakrishna told Vivekanda; Learn to see God with eyes closed as well as with eyes open; with eyes closed in mediation and with eyes open during work and inter-human relations.”
So , in the early stages one one’s life, when one is dealing with the world, one is actually in touch with the Divine as well. She or he doesn’t know it yet but that awareness will dawn depending upon how one handles one’s life And this truth will dawn fully on him or her, when that great strength gained by one’s self-reliance and self-effort is able to go beyond itself to a still greater strength, the strength which is self-surrender in the Divine. This is the only occasion when surrender becomes supreme victory. The knowledge dawns that the breeze of Divine Grace has been gently carrying onward his or her little boat of individuality on the waters of life towards the ocean of total fulfillment. This also means that life and action continue even after self –surrender, but now naturally and spontaneously and effortlessly and as an instrument of the Divine and for the good of the world.
So, in Vedanta it is said; Even to turn towards God, or towards striving for liberation, man needs His grace, ‘Only through grace of God do you get even this tendency towards spirituality , this thirst for the highest. Belies Pascal, the mathematician mystic of the seventeenth century, felt Lord Jesus telling him
‘I love thee more ardently the thou lovest thine abomination (sins)…
Thou couldst not seek Me, if thou didst not possess Me Be not there for troubled.
Seeking is also finding , because what is sought for is also the highest truth within us. That is the way Grace operates in human life; but we fully recognize it only when we become spiritually mature with the strength of manliness leading to the strength of godliness or saintliness in total self –surrender. Then , from that height , one can say; ‘MY play is done; One I see the truth; everything was and is Divine Grace. Personal effort and self-surrender to the Devine are only the earlier and later phases of man’s spiritual life in Divine Grace.
I wish all of you complete success in your spiritual training, growth, and fulfillment from manliness to godliness, form manliness to saintliness. That is complete philosophy of life; and that is the yoga of the Gita.

Monday, 12 March 2012 Change Your Attitude For Immense Benefit Attitude is the way you respond to life each day. It is the way you define and interpret your experiences. Your attitude is the sum total of your beliefs. Assumptions, expectation, and values. It determines the meaning or significance you attach to events and your response to them. Because of right attitude some people are successful. They have gone through hardships and yet their positive expectations keep retuning to them. Attitudes is the way we look at the world through our expectations and beliefs. We process thousands of thoughts in a day. According to author Robert Cooper, research suggests every one of our thoughts affect each of our cells. That is why attitude affects productivity. When our expectations are positive , we are helpful and generous towards others and exercise better judgment in problems solving decision making and creative skills . when our expectation are negative we have less ability to solve problems because we feel insecure and emotionally delicate . Through the seasons, nature presents us with an infinite variety of attitudes from gloomy mist to glorious sunshine. Our own moods , whether gloomy or bright, always reflect the way we deal with others. By our walk, the way you carry our head and shoulders, and the expressions on your face, your stimulate specific emotional response in others. Attitude also determines what you “see” and what you ‘hear’. It is like a glass shield around you through which everything must pass, before it reaches you. It, therefore, colours your perception. How do you develop attitude? Early in life, we imitate the attitude of our parents, teachers, friends and leaders. When we enter adolescences, we absorb the attitude of those we admire or respect. Later in life , we respond on the basis of our personal values, desires and beliefs. Fortunately, we never carve our attitude on stone- we can mould and change them almost every day. How do we develop the attitude we need. Choose the attitude you want to develop. Se your goal, Consider where you are, and where you want to be Write down why you want to change your attitude and steps taken for doing so, including failures and successes. Visualising . This involves choosing quiet time to relax during which you can imagine demonstration your new attitude. Self-talking . it is essential for success that one admires oneself from time to time. Doing so it one of the very effective ways of maintaining one’s attitude. Affirmations can also help to keep your mind on track by not giving room for discouraging negative thoughts. It is well with him who clings to the good; he who chooses the pleasant, misses his end. “ “The good and the pleasant approach man; the wise goes round about them and distinguishes them. Yea, the wise prefers the good to the pleasant, but the food chooses the pleasant through greed and avarice. “ “Thou, O nachiketas, after pondering all pleasures that are or seem delightful, hast dismissed them all. Thou hast not gone into the road that leadeth to wealth, in which many men sink.” “Wide apart and leading to different points are these two- ignorance, and what is known as wisdom. I believe Nachiketas to be one who desire knowledge, for even many pleasures did not tear thee away “ “He (the Self) of whom many are not even able to hear, whom many even when they hear of Him do not comprehend; wonderful is a man, when found, who is able to teach Him (the Self); wonderful is he who comprehends Him, when taught be an able teacher ( man of realization).- Katha Upanishad But, if He exists? Be Spiritually Immune If you could untie your wings and free your soul of jealousy and hatred, you and everyone around you would fly up like doves. All created beings on the Earth are blessed with an inbuilt immune system that protects one from so many infections. We strengthen it with good eating and clean living habits. Then what do we do to immune our spirit from all evil influences and stay free of negativity? Where do we get this negativity from? Of course , from the external world or the world we live in . How would one evade such negative tendencies within? One can achieve a calm and quiet mind by driving away jealousy, doubt and unnecessary desires. We can also immune ourselves by not reliving the past unpleasant happenings, by forgiving the persons that caused them. One must remember only the lesion such events forced one to learn; by doing so, one can never be contemptuous or arrogant. The adult folks must harness the innocence of the youngsters who absorb divine vibrations easily. We must teach our young when they are still in their prime all things righteous and also evolve for ourselves an exemplary living style. When we train our children by setting good examples, the process of cultivating spiritual immunity begins. This helps them in keeping their mind clean, refines their intuitive powers and protects them like a fortress from everything negative . It draws the best things to them, it forties and rein forces us well as the youngsters with emotional and mental stability and builds up self-confidence. It makes one feel secure and in control. Spiritual immunity thus fosters innate powers and thereby making the youth powerful and upright. If you want peace. Work for justice It is difficult , but essential to form a genuine idea of peace. It is especially difficult if one ignores his intuition that tells him that peace is something very human. If we look for the true source of peace we find that it is rooted in genuine respect for man. Peace that is not rooted in true respect for man is not true peace . and true respect for man we call justice. If you want peace, work for justice. Stress is behind many diseases Two psychologists at Yale University have concluded that many common affliction are , to a large extent, caused by stress. They believe that chronic stress is partially responsible for the development of asthma, diabetes, ulcers, ulcerative colitis, inflammatory bowel dieses, atherosclerosis, heart attack, cancers, and the common cold . the researchers point out that the disease often breaks out after a period of heavy stress. Thus it is common for colds and others infection to breaks out on a weekend or a vacation taken after a prolonged period of high work intensity. The psychologists believe that physicians should assist their patients in acquiring the necessary skills such as exercising and relaxing. Quote from The true charm and power of Vedanta The value of concentration is unquestionable . It helps every one in every stage of life. But the greatest man is he who can concentrate his mind of the Supreme Reality, for “we become exactly what we think” Intense thought forms our external and internal nature. This we can often see in the case of devoted husband and wife; they become like each other in their manners, nay, even in their appearance. This fact is very obviously shown in the life of Saint Francis of Assisi, who by constantly concentrating his mind on Jesus the Christ grew to be like Christ. It is even said his eternal figure became transformed and showed the marks of the stigmata. Such is the power of concentration that it can change the whole nature of a man. By concentrating our mind on a pure, holy being we become holy being we become holy. Similarly, when we turn our thoughts to material objects, we become materialistic. But, if He exists? Meditation

Monday 22–August- 2011
Meditation.
No one else can Give up your Sin for you
All your sins and sorrows , your fears and anxieties are your own, and you can cling to them or you can give them up. Of your own accord you cling to your unrest; of your own accord you can come to abiding peace. no one else can give up sin for you, you must give it up yourself. The greatest Teacher can do no more than walk the way of Truth for himself, and point it out to you ; you your self must walk it for yourself. You can obtain freedom and peace alone by your own efforts, by yielding up that which binds the soul, and which is destructive of peace.
Little Courtesies of Everyday
‘Thank you”, ”Please” or Excuse me” are little words. But they can mean much in our day to day activities. They can make all the difference in a man’s career. They are like drops of oil which lubricate many wheels of a creaking machinery.
Businessman and salesman cannot afford to miss them. And ordinary people who miss them, do not look beyond their nose! The present day madness for speed and hurry however, finds these “Daily little courtesies” out of date, old fashioned and perhaps obstacles to progress. Thereby we love goodwill and good dividends.
A businessman finding the change in the flight schedule of his plane for getting home wrote a telegram to his wife keeping that limit to 15 words. The telegraph operator, a woman, looked a it over and asked him, “Are you married to this woman? Started, he answered that he was. “ Then you would better add “LOVE” she suggested. “It cost you just a rupee more and it has a lot of value for the money.”
Little courtesies of everyday can cheer your friends, colleagues and relatives to be happy and merry. When you have some thing nice to say be prompts-and don’t delay.
Because he made every effort to go forward.
Some time ago we heard a strange story. The pilot of a small transport plane said that he had been caught in a one hundred and fifty-mile gale, which held his plane perfectly still. The motors were roaring, he claimed, but the plane was not moving an inch.
“ It was fate,” he concluded, “to be going one hundred and fifty miles and hour and yet not be going anywhere at all!”
Sometimes we seem to be doing something very much like this. No matter how hard we push for ward, we seem to be getting no where at all. Then is the time for us to remember that he who does not try to go ahead is bound to find that he is going back.
If the pilot of the plane ha shut off his motors, he would probably never have lived to tell the story, It was only because he made every effort to go forward that he was even able to stand still!(East and West Series)
All that you are is a result of all that you have thought.
Good words make us laugh; good deeds makes us silent.
Who would love you then?
“Do you love me , dear?”
“Very much!”
“And would you give your life for me?”
“Yes! But who would love you then?”
Will that make it any lighter?
An old man brought a package to the village post office. But the clerk refused to accept it. When is the matter?” asked the old man. “It is to heavy. You will have to put more stamps on it” replied the clerk. The old man was curious “And if I put more stamps on it, will that make it any lighter?” he asked.

Quote from the Essence of The Gita
Every chapter of the Gita is called a yoga. Yoga means to join or to unite. It is a way to unite ourselves with God. The first chapter is called the “Yoga of Despondency”(visada yoga). Why is despondency a yoga? Because the despondency of Arjuna was instrumental in taking him toward God. Hence the name “Yoga of Depnondecy.” In the same way, the other chapter of the Gita have names such as the “Yoga of Knowledge”(samkhya yoga), the “Yoga of Work”(karma yoga), the “Yoga of Renunciation” (sannyasa yoga,) and so on.
Some may say that the Gita was taught only to Arjuna; What significance can it have for us? None of us are going to take apart in any war. Nor do we ordinary people have anything in common with the great warrior Arjuna. How can the teaching given to such a great student be of any benefit to us?
In answered it could be said that although Arjuna was much superior to us, he was also a human being . we too are human beings. Just as he was deluded at times, we too are deluded often. Like him, we to are called upon to face many obstacles and calamities in our quest for truth. Like him again, we too are in the midst of both inner and outer warfare. That is why the study of the Gita holds a message for us; give us peace of mind. And offers solution to the problems of life. Thanks to the study f the Gita , those he had lost their way have shed tears of repentance and have changed their entire life-course and directed it toward high ideals.

I drive joy
There was a doctor in Benaras who spent 5 minutes in the morning and evening for mediation on God. Knowing this, his colleagues and friends laughed at him. One day they argued that he was wasting ten precious minutes on something, which he had been misled into believing. The doctor replied, “Well, if God does not exist, I agree that I am wasting ten minutes a day. But, if He exists? I am afraid you are wasting your entire lifetime. I prefer to waste ten minutes rather than a lifetime. Why should you grudge me the 10 minutes joy that I derive from? I am not robbing you of your joy; why should you rob me of mine. He asked. The critics were silenced. –Baba- Chinna Katha

Meditation –Essential For Success.

Meditation –Essential For Success.
Within the heat of each one of us are dark corners. Let us pray to the Lord to enlighten them, to pour into them sunbeams of His Wisdom.
As a rule angry people do not last long. Be patient with them. Sunbeams of His Wisdom
As a rule anger people do not last long. Be patient with them. Take care of your fancies and imagining. They have shaping power. What you imagine today determines what you will be tomorrow!
A Chinese proverb tells us that an inch of time is an inch of gold. And yet is not time more precious than gold? You can hoard gold. You cannot hoard time. You can lend or borrow gold. You cannot lend or borrow time. And you cannot tell how much time is left to you.
How long will you continue to wander after the shadow shapes of pleasures, possessions, power? Each passing day draws you closer to the moment when you will have to fold your tent and move on!
For success-Spiritual or Temporal-Mediataion, Concentration is essential . the mind must not stay. Mental energy must not be wasted . it is help to pick up a good thought and let the mind dwell on it continuously. Gradually, the mind will acquire the habit of concentration
Debates and endless discussions cannot prove the truth of life. Only experience can. You know whether the shoe fits you, only by wearing it!
Hand yourself over in child like trust to the Lord!” I know of no teaching more practical than this. To be child-like, you must take delight in the simple things of life. You must be frank, open honest. You must not hide your feeling, nor be afraid to admit . “I don’t know!”
If you have taken a noble task in hand, you must never give-up. You must keep on trying even though the times are trying. (Courtesy Better Lives)
Stress Busters
You cannot smooth out the surf, but you can learn to ride the waves.
Life consists of ups and downs. Rather than trying to avoid all negative feelings, learn to accept down times as a normal part of life and become skilled at dealing with those feelings in a healthy way.
Try to avoid or at least spend less time with people who are constantly angry, pessimistic, frightening or critical. If any of these people are in you remediate family, recognize that you cannot change them, but you can work on setting limits and boundaries to reduce the number and frequency of stressful interactions.
A research study at Philadelphia St. Joseph University ahs shown that writing about problems and possible solutions may improve both physical and psychological health Try writing about whatever is currently causing you the most stress, inkling you r honest feelings about t it. When you have finished either keep what you have written to refer to later or tear up the paper and throw it away.
Do not let yourself be pushed into making important decisions without enough thought. You may be asking for trouble by not taking the time necessary to consider the potential results of your choices.
Quote from The essence of The Gita
The scriptures also ask us to remember that the authenticity of our spiritual experience is confirmed if they tally with the etchings, received from the scriptures and the spiritual teacher. Sukadeva ws said to have been born with supreme knowledge. Even then, until he was able to tally his won realization with what he had learnt from the scriptures and his teachers, he occasionally fell into spells of doubt about genuineness of his spiritual experiences.
