Winner –Who Thinks He Can

If you think you are beaten, you are,

If you think you dare not, you don’t

If you like to win, and don’t think you can,

It is almost certain you would not.

If you think you will lose, you are lost.

For in the world we find.

Success being with the fellow’s will it is all in the state of mind.

Thinking big and your deeds will grow.

Think small and you will fall behind.

Think that you can, and you will .

It is all in the state of mind.

If you think you are outclassed , you are.

You have got to think high and rise,

You have got to be sure of yourself,

Before you can win a prize life battles don’t always go to the stronger or faster man,

But sooner or later the man who wins.

Will be the fellow who thinks he can.

 

More you share, more you receive

People seem to have forgotten how to be with other people. There is more comfort in interacting with a computer . it does not make any demands, there are no expectations. You can turn it on or of depending on your mod. A computer does not have moods and needs that you have to cater to. If the machine does not function to expectation, or you are getting into a dysfunctional relationship with it, you can always get rid of it

The problem is you cannot wish away the people coexisting with you at home and at work. At some point, you have to learn to relate to them. And get along with them. This process is not easy because people have different attitudes. Working styles goals and moods.

 

Getting along with people means giving something of yourself, being friendly showing concern, and being willing to do things fro others. Getting along is what we need to work on because we affect someone’s life with our thoughts and actions which in turn, affect our life.

 

Through caring, we are benefited by the reward of others pleasure in being with us.

 

The process of using the head consists of logic and thinking and the process fo using the heart is based on feelings. Using head and heart, we can show others that we really care. Concern can be shown in different ways, but there are some basics to be covered . be  sincere in this Endeavour

Always treat others as you would like to be treated.

 

Be interested in the other person. Rather than talking about yourself. Direct the conversation to the other individual and his/her interests.

Remember names . to accomplish this give attention to the other person, so that the name of the other person will get registered  in your mind. A person’s name is important to him/her

Don’t take yourself and everybody and everything seriously. Lighten up and let your sense of humour comes through

Be stimulating if being with you makes people feel better people will want to be with you, you personal relations will be excellent.

Sincerely make an attempt to heal every misunderstand that you may have with other individuals . forget grievances and maintain an attitude of goodwill towards everyone.

Perform outgoing acts of friendship , sincere self giving leads to pleasant personal relations.

Resist the temptation to spread gossip in order to fit in, or get ahead.

Be polite and respect the moods of others. You are not the only one who is entitled to have bad mood.

Don’t show off or try to impress your fellow begins . however clever your think you are, people will come to know of it . in short , you determine how others accept you and deal with you it is not the other way around. The magic is the more your share your care. Concern and consideration of other people , the more you receive it, from all around you.

How to Develop Pleasing Personality
Most of us want to possess pleasing personality. Here are the tips to acquire this personal trait:
Accept a person as he is and where he is. This attitude takes away hostility in human relationship. It is not possible to behave pleasantly with one whom you hate. When you accept a person as he is , you can relax and feel free the concerned person. Then he too will be happy and friendly with you.
Be out going. Maturity provides you with this important quality. You must be other person- centered rather than self-centered. Too much selfishness takes away the friendly nature to go out of the way to help a person in need.
Be a good listen and be interested to listn with patience and sympathy for the other person.
Look for the good in everyone. Think and live positively instead of negatively.
Concentrate on other person’s achievement. Do remember that there is good in everyone and sincerely look for it.
Be a person with original ideas and thoughts of peace which help you to possess pleasing personality
Wear a smile . This is one of the features of good personality. Smile at everyone. There is no better way to spread sunshine at all times.
Be enthusiastic. This is the one special quality that goes along with pleasing personality.

How Does Sap Go Up A Tree?

Every single part of the human body receives a constant supply of blood which is pumped by the heart. In plants and trees, every single part receives water and nourishment, which we call sap. But a tree has no pump because in has no heart. So how does the sap go up a tree?
Science still cannot explain this mystery exactly. But there are several theories about. Though not a single theory seems to offer the complete answer. Scientists believe that there are several forces at work to make this possible. One explanation has to do with ‘osmotic pressure”. In living things, liquids and dissolved materials pass thought membranes. This is called ‘osmosis’. When there are dissolved chemicals in contact with a membrane, they press against the membranes. This is called “osmotic pressure”. If there are any particles in a solution, more particles press against the membrane and seep through than in solutions with fewer particles.
Minerals and water used by plants come from the roots. Since the soil contains more minerals than the plant, the osmotic pressure causes the minerals to enter the plant. The dissolved minerals remain in the plant cells. The water evaporates. In this way water from the soil continuously moves upward through plants.
Another way of explanting how a sap goes up a tree has to do with “transpiration” and the cohesion of water from leaves is called “transpiration”. The attraction of one water particle o another is called “Cohesion”.
Transpiration provides the upward “pull”, As water evaporates from the cells of the leaves, it creates a vacuum in he cells directly below the surface. So these cells draw on the cells below them for a new supply of sap.. And this contains right down to the roots of the tree. Cohesion holds the water particles together as they move up.

How to Love God

To love God in the most practical way is to love our fellow beings. If we feel for others in the same way as we feel for our own dear ones, we love God.
If, instead of seeing faults in others, we look within our lives, we are loving God.
If , instead of robbing others to help ourselves, we rob ourselves to help others, we are loving God.
If we suffer in the sufferings of others and feel happy in the happiness of others, we are loving God.
If, instead of worrying over our own misfortunes, we think of ourselves as more fortunate than many many others , we are loving God.
If we endure our lot with patience and contentment, accepting it as His will, we are loving God.
If we understand and feel that the greatest act of devotion and worship to God is not to hurt or harm any of His beings, we are loving God.
To love Goes as He ought to be loved, we must live for God and die for God, knowing that the goal of all life is to love God, and find him as our own self.
Power of Thoughts.
All that we are is the result of what we have thought. If a man speaks or acts with an evil thought, suffering follows him, as the wheel follows the foot of th ox that draws the cart. If a man speaks or acts with pure thought, happiness follows hi, like a shadow that never leaves him. Dhammapada.
All fear punishment, all fear hurt. Therefore , do not harm, or cause harm. Do as you would want done to you- Dhamamapada.
We go This Way But Once
We go this way but once, so why not take the journey well worthwhile , giving to those who travel with us a helping hand, a word of cheer, a smile. We got this way but once never more can we go back aslong the same way. To get more out of life, undone the wrongs, or speak loving words we know but did not say. We go this way but once. Then let us make the road we travel blossomy and sweet, with helpful, kindly deeds and tender words, smoothing the path of stumbling feet.

Photomicrography is the art of photography through the microscope . It is important in chemistry, biology, geology and medicine.

Carbon are lamps and incandescent tungsten filament lamps are normally used for illumination but, for special purposes, flesh bulbs , electronic discharge lamps and sodium lamps are used.

Wheneve there is the necessity of a teacher to show the paths of devotion and knowledge ,God descends in the form of a teacher. He is the real Teacher and it is by following Him that the world can progress. It si He who opens the eyes of the sould who is blinded by ignorance and is attached to the world . In one sense, God alone exists as this whole world . Movable and immovable, whatever we see is but His reflection . In another sense, it is He who exists in all living begins as consciousness. To re-establish true religion and peace He comes down as the World Teacher. He comes down in a human form but is not bound by ignorance . To us who are bound by ignorance . He shows the true path to spiritual freedom . though he takes different bodies at different times in history. the incarnations are not different . They are all one. It is the same God who appears in different forms according to necessity. He gives his teaching by appearing in a form called for by those times.
God has appeared in India many times and has taught us many things. That is why India was the fountain of all knowledge. Whenever it was necessary, He has lifted India up holding her by His hands. It is for this reason that even today in this downtrodden, oppressed and famine-stricken land so man heroic souls , spiritual and enterprising, are taking birth and guiding us. That is why in India we see even now more exemplars of knowledge and devotion than in other countries.
It is in the field of religion that India has advanced. Her life force is centered in religion. It is as if we are surviving only on religion. Form daily activates life bathing to bigger social events like marriage, everything here is considered a part of religion. Whether we can do all these things correctly or not, there is not the slightest doubt that all our customers and traditions are geared toward making us religious . it is true that other countries have advanced in other matters. They are on the crest of the world in politics, economies, military power and other things pertaining to worldly prosperity, India’s life forces is centered in religion. It was on the strength of religion that India was at the top for the world at one time. There is not the least doubt that by holding on to religion alone will she rise once again in the future. As a sign of it, we see everywhere today a growing taste for the divine name, deep faith in prayers and mediation the desire to realize God, and discussions, about the harmony between knowledge and devotion.

Knowledge is Power
We are living in an age of speed and epoch-making inventions. New inventions from far and near are taking he masses forward. Today supersonic airplane conquer the speed of sound. Computers take over as central nervous system in business establishments, hospitals, libraries and educational institutions. Videophone provides instant visual communication with anyone anywhere .Satellites connects the home with a world network of information , education, and entertainment. Terms such as rockets, robots, atomic missiles, I.C.B.M. atomic reactor, Cobalt. Bomb,. International Monetary Fund, World Bank etc are talked about in many places. We should know what all these exactly mean. These require intelligent understanding. So we should make it a point to read newspapers, journals, and books to acquire accurate knowledge on such subjects as it contributes must to the maturity of our thoughts.
Knowledge is wealth, not plundered by relatives not carried off by thieves, not decreased by giving. It give us the necessary confidence in life. For success in life we should keep abreast of the time utilized our thoughts to keep in touch with the latest achievements of human efforts. The more extensive our knowledge of what has been done, the greater will be our power of knowing what to do. If we are conscious that we are ignorant is a great step to our knowledge.
It is highly desirable that we must choose books and journals on important subjects like science, technology, politics, economics and sociology, and make a serous study of them.
The grand object of reading is to become well informed. We come into the world ignorant of everything. The history, the experience of other men and other generations, can be ours only by thorough reading of useful books. The desire of knowledge, like the thirst of riches, increases ever with the acquisition of it.

Knowledge endows us with serene calmness; unperturbed patience and absolute self control. It gives us the courage to resist temptations to indulge in improper behavior and illegal activities . our thoughts will never become base or mean. With the use of knowledge we areas sure to make useful contribution to human progress some day or other. We are also certain to raise ourselves to higher levels of thoughts and actins. We will also add to the progress and welfare of the nation.
Knowledge is power and great wealth . To know as many things as possible is to win. If we have knowledge , others will light their candle at it!
If knowledge can create problems, it is not through ignorance that we can solve them.
The only wealth is found in human hearts
If I have strength, I owe the service of the strong; if melody I have, I owe the world a song.
If heaven’s grace has endowed me with some rare gift, I can lift; if I can heal some wound no other’s hand can heal, to a wounded world my gift is healing.
For any gift God gives to me. I cannot pay; gifts are most mine when I give them away;
God’s gifts are like His flowers, which show their right to stay by giving all their bloom and fragrance away. Riches are not gold, nor land, estates. The only wealth there is , is found in human hearts.
Be industrious
Be studious in your profession, and you will be learned. Be industrious and frugal , and you will be rich .Be sober and temperate and you will be healthy.
Smart person and Wise person
The difference between a smart person and a wise one is that a smart person knows what to say , but a wise person knows whether to say it or not.
Hints to keep you young
Do not be on the look out for ill health. Keep useful at work. Have a hobby. Learn to be satisfied. Meet adversity courageously. Keep on liking people. Met the little problems of life with decision, Above all , maintain a good sense of humour, best done by saying something pleasant every time you get a chance. Live and make the present hour pleasant and cheerful. Keep your mind out of the past , and keep it out of the future.

Vishwakarma also designed the famous city of lord Krishna Dwarika.
On this occasion, people offer prayer to Vishwakarma idol at their work place and chants Vishwakarma Aarti to please the god.

Failure –A stepping stone to success
Just as light is followed by darkness failure and success follow one another . they represent the two sides of the same coin. Just as success in reaching our goal should not make us proud, an attitude of hopelessness should be given up in the wake of failure because failure is a stepping stone to success.
It sis widely said that diamond cannot be polished without friction and a man cannot be made perfect without trials. Lives of all great man cannot be made perfect without trials. Lives of all great men remind us that fame and glory are gained only by overcoming failures and setbacks. Failure should be looked upon as the lubricating oil that drives the machinery of human action to greater heights.
To feel proud at success and to remain sorrowful at failure are the indications of our inability to control our mind. Calmness and a sense of understanding are necessary in both the conditions.
Success and glory never merit the lazy. In the wake of failure, think in a positive way and have faith in yourself and success will be yours.
In short failure is not final and success is not everlasting. so always give your best success will be there at your doorsteps.
Recognize your achievements.
Even the most successful mean might have made some mistake on there way to fame . however , what sets these men apart, is that they were so busy getting ahead that they had not tome to was on self-pity or regret. They did not even spend their energy devising ways of avoiding more pitfalls. Instead , they continued boldly, trying again and again regardless of the risks involved.
For example;
Consider, what happens to the driver of a car, who watches on the ditches he wants to avoid, instead of keeping his eye on his road? The answer is-he lands up in a ditch!
Better alternative;
Be concerned with what you want, rather than what you do not want! By all means admit your mistakes but this should only indicate a willingness to go ahead and not to waste your precious time thinking about your past mistakes.
Concentrate instead, on your achievements which you did well in the past and which give you a feeling of pride!
Be a winner;
It is false modesty that you must admit failures. On the other hand. You might as well admit your achievements.
And in recognizing you achievements, you will meet, a most interesting and increasingly successful stranger, that is You!
Rich without money
There are some people who carry their wealth with them who are rich without money. They do not need palatial homes or large bank accounts. They do not need to buy admission to society-everybody love them. They are welcome everywhere because they have that which money cannot buy –a genial, helpful, sunny, cheerful disposition.

Punctuality –Master Key to Success
To be punctual implies having an acute sense to timing. Failing to do a work at the right time not only results in disappointment, frustration or bitterness, it can also prove disastrous. Sometimes, the damage done can be irreparable. Remember the popular saying . “Time and tide wait for none”. One must there fore, endeavor to live its every moment. And to do so, you must have an acute sense of timing. Time is money Wasting time is inviting failures and frustrations. There is a time for everything.
Punctuality does not call for any special endeavor, technique or planning. It is a way of life. It comes naturally to those who have made it a habit. A habit becomes a routine and what you do in routine is always done efficiently. Punctuality does however, imply regularity, conformity and uniformity.
Punctuality , like all arts, can be cultivated with little effort. All you have to do is to be clear-headed and earnest. This quality can be developed or cultivated fast enough. The harvest is certain quick and rewarding. It is true on the road to life’s journey you have many buses. If you miss the first one you can take the next. But you never know for certain that the next bus will come at the right time. It may be considerably delayed and even then, you can never be certain it will carry you.
By being punctual , you spare yourself the embarrassing queries on arriving at the destination, if accountability is involved. The opportunity missed and time lost or wasted can never be recovered.
If you are punctual, you will never have to face the unpleasant situations like “House Full” signs. You will always find the door open.
As a matter of fact punctuality is inherent in the very scheme of Nature. The sun rises punctually in the east and sets punctually to the west. The seasons, the moon, the stars all follow a strict timetable, don’t they?
It a crop is not sown when it must be, the consequences are too clear to need elaboration. Similarly, if you are careless in harvesting, the outcome may be equally unpleasant.
If we do not do the things at the right time , we are to blame ourselves for the consequences. We must not leave things to chance. We must always endeavor to be punctual.
Life is short. Be swift to love! Make hast to be kind!

The head of a team must delegate the activities that can lead to his growth as well as that of the organization. In order to delegate, the prime factor required is trust, trust between the head and the subordinates. He must be willing to trust his team members and have confidence in their efficiency. So he must be able to let the right member to handle the right task so that as a head he can find time and energy for some more important tasks. He ahs to have a thorough assessment of the abilities of his team mates, their potential; he should also be able to clarify matters if needed; encourage, creativity; must enquire about the completion of work at justified intervals and seek a report or updates on the assigned tasks. All these managerial skills of the head of a team increase the efficiency of the team, build up the confidence, develop their skills and in turn gets time to focus on more important matters. It is also learning process for the team as well . the end result is skilled people who will be an asset to the organization.
What is Real Culture?
What distinguishes a human being from billions of other creatures that shares the Earth with him is not ability to think or reason, but the opportunity God has given him to close the gap between himself and Him through evolution.
The first step he has to take in that direction is to imbibe culture. A formidable quantity of literature exists in every language spoken on Earth which describes what culture is. Culture is what we need to acquire as we grow up and mature from infancy to childhood to teenage to youth to middle age to old age, through observation , acceptance, and absorption through discipline.
That is why during ‘Brhamacharya Asharama’ the period of learning , the ‘brhamachari’ is ordained to live a simple life, his wants reduced to bare essentials, his entire focus remaining on education. His mind thus focused on learning alone, remains undisturbed and he lives a life of purity in the sanctified precincts of the ‘ashrama’ of his Guru , and his mind blossoms in its ambience.
It is only when the teacher is entirely satisfied that his pupil has gained sufficient , and is capable and wise enough , is he given permission to return to the society to be a productive and contributing member . It is only at this stage he is qualified to marry. From this stage onwards he continues his pilgrimage of life with his wife, described as ‘dharma patni’ one who follows the path of ‘dharma’ along with him.
When he acquires a wife, it does not mean that someone comes to live with him who would serve him, meet his needs and bear his children. The sacred Mantras he ahs to chant during marriage rituals are profound in meaning. They are in effect, a sacred oath, taken with Agni the God of Fire, as witness.
During the ‘samskara’ of Vivaha’ he seeks from his bride companionships, a mate, one who would share his joys and sorrows , someone who would always stand by him, encourage him, and be a source of comfort and solace. She would be of equal status, indeed, one entity in two bodies . In return, he promises to give her everything, as much as he seeks from her or more, treat her as a friend and a companion, one who is his equal.
To me , it is this promise which embodies real culture. Only those who treat their spouse as their equals and as companions and truly cover them with warmth, affection, love and adoration, throughout their life together, can be called persons of real culture. Only when such a bond exists between a husband and wife, can culture radiate.
A person may be a great scholar, . He might be a wealthy person. He might also be a very powerful person. He could be any of these and more. However , if that person doesn’t live up to the sacred oath he takes, when he takes the had of a damsel in his own and asks her to be his wife, he is yet to acquire what true culture is.
Unity of Indian Culture
There are three outstanding features of India’s cultural and social life. First its fundamental unity in the midst of the baffling diversity, second, its capacity to absorb and adjust; and third , its power to survive and consequent continuity. This is composite culture in the sense that although in the sense that, although in the ultimate analysis it is Indian in origin, it has not hesitate to absorb whatever came in its way from other lands and other peoples in its long and chequered carrier. Thus in the languages, religions, life customs and traditions of the people, there ahs been a continuous flow and intake from outside, . Whatever has some in its way has been absorbed and assimilated and ahs become part and parcel of its own inheritance. If one dares peep into the future, one can say that the horoscope of this exquisite and composite culture is not yet exhausted, and it may, in the future as in the pat, furnish in its won humble way, the technique and practical experience of binding in unbreakable but soft and silent cords of active love and tolerance.(Courtesy ;Better Life)

There are a number of ways for improving your personality.
Laugh as much as you can Laughter is a positive, natural condition which helps to improve respiration, lower blood pressure and tone up the heart.
If you feel sad, cry. Research has shown that tears not only provide stress relief but also helps the body get rid of harmful chemical substances. If you suppress your natural instinct to cry, you are increasing your chances of facing a stress-related disorder.
Anger is a killer. Disease like high blood pressure, stroke and heart disease are all results of uncontrolled anger. Find a positive way such a physical exercise or talking about your problem to release it.
Lack of self-confidence can be very destructive , so build it up. You can do this by imagining that you are creating an advertisement for yourself, writing down all your good qualities. You will be surprised to find how many good qualities you have.
Smile as often as you can. If someone sees you smiling, he will smile back. He would also like your company.
Learn to be courageous. In hospitals, the patients who live longest are the ones who bear their condition with courage. The same is true in life also.
Boredom is one of the biggest killers. Be prepared to take risk and chance to add excitement to your life. If you don’t take risk, you will never know what you can achieve.
Put purpose into life. By adding ambition. Hope and purpose, you will give yourself new powers to fight stress and strain associated with frustration. boredom and pressure.
Get into the habit of following your instincts. Practice first with minor decisions-what to eat and wear. You will be surprised to know the power of you subconscious mind.

Often we wonder whether one’s personality can be changed. Is it truly possible? Of course!
Remember , we are made up of liabilities and assets. We have within us the desire to be happy and famous the will to succeed, the desire for self-fulfillment and the thoughts of self-destruction too. So when we look in the mirror we will find two different people at two different times. Something we will have frown and feel frustrated; sometimes a happy face because we are successful. This is a common experience to all of us.
In spite of this being universal experience, unawares when you like the better ‘you’ , you are at that moment enlarging the scope of your personality. If you choose frustration as a way of life, you undermine you personality and make your image shrink. In other words, ‘you’ and ‘you’ alone can add to your assets or accumulate more liabilities. No one else can do this for you. In order to be better ‘you’ , the bog ‘you’ with a better personality you ought to do . one thing at a time, Shoot for one goal at a time; Live in the present, live today; Forget the mistakes of yesterday , but remember only lessons it taught; Stop criticizing yourself as well as others; Yearn for self-improvement ; hold on to your self-respect by appraising yourself honestly; Learn to listen to others for it helps removes bias from your opinions. Don’t be timid in your conversation. Talk even if you make a mistake; Exercise your imagination creatively to achieve success and finally remember the words of Charles Schwab. “Personality is to man what perfume is to a flower”.

We often hear, especially during grand occasions, ‘roll out the red carpet’ or ‘red carpet’ reception. It is something that people do when they wish to give a regal reception to someone special. This is a way of giving a special welcome. We often hear of ‘red carpet’ treatment in the same sense. Probably this idiom originated from the practice of olden days when kings and Queens and other from royal households were received with a red carpet rolled out on which they trod. We often see a similar practice when heads of state, actors, sports man and other high achievers are received. What ever may be the origin, it , is indeed, regal when someone rolls out a red carpet for you.
‘Cavat’- pronounced ‘Ka-vi-at’ is quite a formal usage. It means warning or caution. It means warning or caution. It originates from the Latin ‘Cavere’ which means ‘Let him beware’. How to be a Winner?
Courage helps us to live in the most effective and sensible way. It helps us to concentrate on today’s tasks and pleasure, forgetting the past, and leaving the future to take care of itself.
Concern for the future is natural. We must make provisions for it. The only way open tours to influence it is by doing today’s activities to the best of our abilities to the best o four abilities. With courage we can turn our backs not the past. The future is not yet here and remains still to be shaped . We can act only in the present. To act consistently on this knowledge calls for courage. We have to preserve in our efforts to live solely within the confines of today’s circumstances.
Courage and perseverance help to build up a strong character . They build up self reliance. They lead to peace of mind, success in our endeavors and an end to obstacles. The quickest way to acquire courage is through help from other people. Friends can give you the inspiration you need, just like reading inspiring books. Two famous books you could start with are; “How to Stop Worrying and Start Living” by Dale Carnegie, and “The Power of Positive Thinking’ by Dr. Norman Vincent Peale.
Dale Carnegie suggests one method for facing troubles with courage, learnt from an expert in the air-condition business. This man’s advice was to decide first. “What is the worst thing that could happen to me in this present trouble?’ He would then calmly and quietly accept that the worst might happen and prepare himself to face it. Then he would ask. “How can I improve on the worst?’ Ideas would then occur that he could put into effect to help mitigate our avoid the worst.
Once you have mentally prepared yourself to face the worst, you always find the courage to take bold, practical steps to solve the problem.
Dr.Pele draws attention to a similar thought. “The primary fact about an obstacle”, he says , “is don’t be afraid of it”. He goes on to add. “The first thing to do about an obstacle is simple, to stand up to it and not complain about it but forthrightly attack it”. By this positive tackling of problems we will learn to know our abilities and our power to get things done. We will convince ourselves . “ I don’t believe in defeat”.
Determination to succeed is the factor that distinguishes people of great achievement from the rest of mankind. They are not content even with doing their best. They go a step further and try to improve their own records.
The famous American psychologist. Williams James used to say that most people use only about ten per cent of their ability. Ouspenski expressed the same idea when he said . “Most people inhabit a mansion but live only in the basement”.
Avoid self-pity. Be hard on yourself (but not on others). You troubles are no worse than others have to face. They are a lot softer than many other people’s . Regretting about your misfortunes will solve nothing. Only positive action courageously carried out in faith will get you over your problems.
Lincoln’s rules for living.
Do not worry, eat two square meals a day, say your prayers, be courteous to your creditors, keep you digestion good, steer clear of biliousness, exercise, go sloe and go easy. May be there are other things that your special ease requires to make you happy, but, my friend, these I reckon will give you a good lift.
Right thinking
Stop thinking about things you don’t want, and think about the things you want. Stop thinking about war, disaster, poverty, hard times , bad luck, panic, crime, evil, failure , suicide, disease, and death. Think and talk more about peace, plenty, health, life, opportunity, confidence, happiness , progress, power, prosperity, achievement, truth, success and justice. Your thoughts help to make a better world. Substitute cooperation for competition, love for hate, trust for suspicion, peace for war and service for selfishness. Right thinking is the greatest power in the world to establish peace and goodwill among men.

Karma Yoga and Jana Yoga Lead to the Same Goal
Who is fit to work in this way? the person who has controlled his or her mind. What happens when a person goes on working in this manner? The bonds of karma are cut asunder and gradually he or she attains perfect knowledge.
Sri Krishna exemplifies the practice of Karma Yoga in a special way. We see that although his mind and senses did an infinite amount of work, he had not the least desire for the result. Only incarnations like him are the real teachers of the world. Their lfie is meant for the spread of knowledge and for teaching humanity. Study their lives and learn to work like them. Otherwise , if we don’t learn to practice control, if we work with desire for its fruits, the mind will gradually become a salve of the senses, and the senses will destroy us. It wont do to be a slave of the sense. That wont help us in any way; we shall lose track of the goal. We should keep the sense and the mind under control.
Let us have a high before us and keep on working . We will see that a Karma Yogi reaches through work the same state that a Jana Yogi attains thought intense detachment. Both have the same goal, but their paths are different. Although the paths are not identical so long as the two are en route, there is not difference the two once the goal is reached.
