Trust in Divine

May our trust in Him ever remain unshaken.

God’s work no mortal can resist. This is what you must be conscious of all the time. Often the task before you may seem like cutting a road through rocks but remember that everything is possible through his will and grace. Be brave and stand by your post faithfully. The Lord will bless you and give you strength. Trust in Him and all will go well. Try to do each task with masterly spirit and calmness and do not let things wear you out. Try and the Lord will help you.

Be patient, everything is conquered through patience and perseverance . the Supreme Being is always protecting you. He will make you able and strong. Always place your faith and heat on the Divine, the only true Protector . Through His Grace all out efforts are of no avail.

In Him must we trust; in none else, in none else. Our faith in Him and love for Him must make us immovable , Impatience, planning or any human effort is not the characteristic of a true devotee. He is our guide and we must get all our support from Him. In the face of every difficulty we must look to Him for peace and understanding. True devotees alone are fearless and all-blissful. No one can be fearless who has a doubting mind. Everything goes well when we feel His presence. he is the sun, the dispeller of all darkness and clouds of sorrow. What is there to fear in this world so long as we do not forget Him , being led away by worldly thoughts?

Make Optimal Use Of Gifts

We are bestowed with precious gifts of mind, heart and hand. We have mind but we are not mindful. Mindfulness is our ability to be fully present in the moment. By having a focused and relaxed mind, by being mindful, we can leverage the power of the present. But, the absence of mindfulness is bringing decay in relationships, increasing anxiety and stress, affecting work performance and productivity, undermining rationality and creating barriers.

Next, we have heart but we are not heartful. Heartfulness means being warm-hearted, compassionate, kind, loving and caring, to make our world a better place to live in. We all seek peace but, as the Dalai Lama says, “the key to inner peace is warm-heartedness as it helps bridge the gap of separation between us humans”.

But heartless and merciless acts of extremism and terrorism across the world demonstrate how little use we are making of heart. Last, but not the least, is our reluctance to use our hands.

Our attitude of looking down upon apprenticeship and skills has not only pushed our large productive workforce to incapacitation for long but also gave rise to elitist and feudal mindset and social inequality. Not respecting manual work is tantamount to denying dignity to labour and grace to workmanship.

Humans have immense capacity for good. But if we do not make optimal use of the gifts we have, then we are not living to our full potential.

Krishna and His Love

Krishna, the universal teacher, suggests an easy path to godhead, “Whatever you do, eat, offer in sacrifice, gift away, whatever austerity you practise… do it as an offering to Me” (Gita 9:27).

Krishna declined Duryodhana’s sumptuous feast, saying, “One must eat only on two occasions; when one is hungry or when one is invited with love. You do not love me and I am never hungry.”

Krishna rushed to Duryodhana’s ex-minister Vidur’s house. Seeing Krishna, Vidur’s wife was so overwhelmed that she peeled the bananas, threw away the fruit and offered the skins to Krishna, which He happily accepted.

The Divine Lord attaches no importance to rituals, expenditure, show, reading of scriptures or japa. These mind-cleansing methods can be done mechanically, but what he wants is love devoid of cunning. Meera had such love for Krishna.

A simple devotee, Dhanna Jaat was asked by his guru to look after a stone deity of Krishna while he was away. An honoured Dhanna brought food for the Lord but was restless that the deity had not eaten at all.

The guru had forgotten to tell his simple disciple that offering food was just a symbolic gesture.

Dhanna pleaded and sat there for three days refusing to get up till the Lord obliged. Hungry and frustrated, Dhanna wielded astick, threatening to give the deity a sound thrashing if he did not eat.

Immediately, Krishna manifested himself, ate everything and even worked on Dhanna’s fields for the devotee was in no condition to work, so busy he was praying to God.

To live in the wold and yet ot grow in the spirit of renunciation means a tremendous wasle of energy and failure mor often than not. There is a constant stuggle. The mind will be disturbed by low desires if it is always coming in contact with their objects. And it will have to be constantly pulled back to a safe level. This eternal play will go on- the sliding down of the mind and the drawing of it up. The energy that should be devoted to the realization of God, will thus be spent in looking after the mind. Hence, there will be little spiritual progress. It is a nerve racking business-this struggle with the mind. Heaven knows the mind is sufficiently untractable even without outside stimulus. Constant struggle with the mind leads to neurosis. and this is dangerous . if we are sincere and serious we msut therefore retire from the world externally as wall as internally.

Confession And Reconciliation

We often commit serious mistakes in our dealings with others and our greatest fault is not to be aware of it. We are all imperfect human beings. Since we are imperfect, it is natural that we are always prone to err. God, who is perfect, ordained ways of our redemption. And the best way or redemption is to confess our errors, mistakes, aberrations, pitfalls and expiate.

What do we do when we have blundered, offended some and filled our waking existence with guilt and apologise. If this happens, most of the ill-feelings and grievances are redressed or washed off.

But the problem is when we are the person (s) making the mistake, then why should we go to the person concerned, confess the mistake and apologies. The best thing to do is confess the mistake, finish the matter and begin with a clean state . but more often than not, i does not happen . Most of us let –ill-feeling and jealousy fester inside us. This further aggravates the situation. This tend not only to affect relationship deep resentment can also affect adversely the physical and mental health.

The best way to begin the healing process would be to, first admit that one has made a mistake, and second to set about making amends and begin by talking about it openly. As human beings, we are far from being perfect, so it is only natural that we err. “Our glory consists not in every falling, but in rising every time we fall” said Goldsmith, But here is a word of caution. The confession should be real and not superficial or as a matter of formality only. If we do wholeheartedly, we build trust and closer understanding, over come fear of rejection and condemnation. so confession and reconciliation are the route for wholeness. It is worth all the risks because it promotes health and eliminates sickness from our body and mind.

Non-killing being established, in his presence all enmities cease (in others)

If a man gests the ideal of non-injuring others, before him even animals which are by their nature ferocious will become peaceful. The tiger and the lamb will play together before that Yogi. When you have come to that state, then alone you will understand that you have become firmly established in non-injuring.

By the establishment of truthfulness the Yogi gets the power of attaining for himself and others the fruits of work without the works when this power of truth will be established with you, then even in dream you will never tell an untruth. You will be true to thought words and deed. Whatever you say will be truth you may say to a man. “Be blessed” and  that man will be blessed. If a man is diseased, and you sat to him. “Be thou cured” he will be cured immediately.

Human beings are curious and inquisitive by nature. They like to explore things and places around them. During the entire evolutionary journey of humankind, people loved to travel to explore and seek adventure. Apart from geography of India, the entire course of Indian history from Hardpans civilisation to the India of today, played a significant role to promote and nurture. Indian tourism. The history has left its indelible mark in the form  of various –statues , shrines , tombs, merest, forts, palaces monuments, buildings-every piece of art or architecture gives us a glimpses into the Indian past. The performing arts-music , drama and dance traditions and customs , costumes , cousins, language, social norms and practices, religious rites and festivals- are expression of the rich Indian culture and heritage . This distinct culture of India has helped flourishing of variety of festivals lively markets, vibrant lifestyle and traditional Indian hospitality- all of which act as sources which attract foreign tourists to India. In a world based on knowledge economy, and growing health consciousness, there can be seen a pragmatic shift towards the conventional Indian wisdom based on –yoga and ayurveda.

Now-a-days, yoga ayurveda and natural health resorts are contributing gretly to the growth of Medical Trousism’ in India . also significant is the urge of ‘Spiritual Tourism’ in India people visiting the Ghats of Ganga, seeking peace and self-realisation towards exploration of inner self.

Here, then is a profound question. What is the individual man- is there any such thing, if I am to speak about my philosophy is this connection. I must mention something –an idea that made a very deep impression on my mind, I still carry that impression, I still think it is true. You see, I feel even monistic Vedanta has fallen prey to a mistake. even the great Shankara, who is recognized as the greatest monistic Vedantist, even he fell into that error. However, we think he spoke in this way not because he thought it final truth but just to help us. Every philosophy has to have a standpoint, philosophy certainly is not just transcendental, ; it tries to help people , to reach them where they are .Shankara took the standpoint of objective idealism –the stand point of all men, all intelligent men. He started with what they think and perceive, and so he said that there are many beings, and infinite number of beings, and that these beings are really Spirit, but that they have, through ignorance , forgotten that fact. These beings have been endowed with a mind and a body, and they function through them. To this complex Shankara gave the name of jiva. Jiva is translated “individual self” that is to say, the Self individualized. it ahs become individualized by being encased in the mind and the body. And so it is this which is seeking knowledge, this individual , it is this which practice religion; it is this which tries to conquer ignorance , it is this which is seeking knowledge, this individual, it is this which practices religion, it is this which tries to conquered ignorance; it is this which finds its identity with Brahman or God in the end . All of which seems awfully nice. It is so satisfying all just right, true to our experience. “I am in that condition, I am a miserable individual, however, i want to conquer my misery” And Shankara goes on “Now you do this and do that, you discipline yourself  through worship, meditation , and all . in course of time you rill find that you  are free from the bondage of the body and the senses and the mind. You  will begin to realize that you are beyond these things and that you are pure Spirit; eventually you will find you are identical with God, all this things you will experiences finally “ all this time , if you think deeply, you will find you have no proof that there is any such strange animal as the jiva-no proof at all.
