Taking a day off from work is something all of
us look forward to . here are some very enjoyable excuses...!
An employee applied for leave as follows.
Since i have to go to my village to sell my
land along with my wife, please sanction me one week leave.
Leave letter from an employee who was
performing his daughter’s wedding.
“as I am marrying my daughter please grant a
week leave.
Another employee’s leave letter. As my mother
in law has expired an i am only one responsible for it, please grant me 10 days
leave.
One employee applied for half day leave as
follows. “Since I have to go to the cremations ground at 10 o’clock and I may
not return, please grant me half day casual leave.
“An incident of a leave letter. “ I am
suffering from fever please declare one day holiday”
‘My wife is suffering from sickness and as I
am her only husband at home I may be granted leave”
“I am in well here and hope you are also in
the same well.”

, may He who comes in different forms for the good of humanity make us strong,
steady pure and fearless so that we may live in Him and Him alone!

mediation on God. Knowing this, his colleagues and friends laughed at him. One
day they argued that he was wasting ten precious minutes on something, which he
had been misled into believing. The doctor replied, “Well, if God does not
exist, I agree that I am wasting ten minutes a day. But, if He exists? I am
afraid you are wasting your entire lifetime. I prefer to waste ten minutes
rather than a lifetime. Why should you grudge me the 10 minutes joy that I
