God’s Clinic
I went to God’s
clinic to have my routine check-up and I confirmed I was ill.
When god look my
blood pressure, He saw I was low in tenderness. Wen He read my temperature, the
thermometer registered 40 degree of anxiety . He ran an electrocardiogram and
found that I needed several Love by pass’ since my arteries were blocked with loneliness
and could not provide for an empty heart.
I went to orthopedics,
because I could not walk by my brother’s side and I could not hug my friends since
I had fractured myself when tripping with envy. He also found I was short-sighted
since I could not see beyond the shortcomings of my brothers and sisters. When I
complained about deafness, the diagnosis was that I had stopped listening to
God’s voice talking to me on a daily basis
For all that ,
God gave me a free consultation. Thanks to his mercifulness! So my pledge is
that once I leave this clinic, only take the natural remedies he prescribed
through his words of truth. Every morning, take a full glass of gratitude. when
getting to work, take one spoon of peace. Every hour, take one pill of patience
, one cup of brotherhood and one glass of humility. When getting home, take one
dose of love. When getting to bed take two tablets of clear conscience’
God wants to
show you things that only you can
understand by living what you are living and by being in the place you are now.

Quote from the
True charm and Power of Vedanta
Religion and
Ethics
It is difficult
to imagine religion without ethics and ethics without religion. Religions and
ethics invariably go together and sometimes they even overlap A religious man
has to be ethical just as and ethical man. Whether he likes it or not, is also religious
.Religion sanctions and supports ethics; ethics justify religion, for religion transfers
a man completely , making him incapable of doing anything wrong.
But what is religion?
How is it related to ethics? Why cant a man b moral without being religious , religious
without being moral? Religion is a science of growth, growth towards perfection.
If you are religious you will got to be happy with what you are . you will say
I must be a better man, better in my human qualities. I will be better a better
till I reach the level of a Buddha, or his like. It may sound too ambitious, but
it is better to have an ambitious like this and keep struggling all the time
rather than have no ambition al all. Religion gives a man the ambition and also
shows him the way that ambition can be fulfilled. A religious man constantly feels
the urge to struggle and grow better and better. He soon discovers that as he
is precision religion he is acquiring, as if in spite of himself more and more
of self-control. For instant has is less susceptible to temptations of money, power
, fame and sense pleasure. He tends to be austere. Keeping away from thins most
people run after. he begins by telling himself what he should do and should not
do, thus subjecting himself to a measure of self-discipline
which become the foundation
of his ethical lie. He soon turns out to be a man who will not tell a lie,
cheat others, use his power and position to exploit the weak, try to gain
something to which his is not entitled and so n, at the same time he is kind compassionate
and friendly to all. Courtesy Vedanta in

But, if He
exists?
I drive joy
There was a doctor in Benaras who spent 7 minutes in the morning and evening
for mediation on God. Knowing this, his colleagues and friends laughed at him.
One day they argued that he was wasting ten precious minutes on something,
which he had been misled into believing. The doctor replied, “Well, if God does
not exist, I agree that I am wasting ten minutes a day. But, if He exists? I am
afraid you are wasting your entire lifetime. I prefer to waste ten minutes rather
than a lifetime. Why should you grudge me the 10 minutes joy that I derive 4m.
