Nothing is Impossible
There are no limits to human endurance and power that with courage
anything can be achieved, Napoleon clung to the belief that no task was beyond
his capacity to achieve, that the word impossible ‘ should not find a place in
his vocabulary. It was this firm conviction which guided him all the way
through
Once upon a time , climbing the Everest was considered beyond human
capacity Mallory and Irwin, to mention the first two who died while attempting
an ascent on the Everest, refused to subscribe to the idea . They fell they
could put their all against the hazards of the climb. They knew the risk involved
in the enterprise l they also knew the dictum, ‘Nothing dared, nothing achieved’
They were swept away by away by an avalanche. However the spirit of adventure
did not die. It continued to burn bright through an elite band of people .
again and again, expeditions were launched till, at last, Hillary and Tenzing
Norgay stood atop the highest peak in the summer of 1953 they had made the
impossible possible.
A women climbing the Everest: the very idea seemed foolish. Yet , Junko
Tabei of japan thought other wise, She felt , deep within, that want man could do,
woman could do as well. And she turned the impossible into possible when she became
the first woman to scale the Everest.
Others clung to the belief that they can overcome anything. Helen Keller
overcame her physical distillates and became a well known figure because she
fought against heavy odds. Nearest home, we have sudha Chandran, the young girl
form Bombay , an aspiring dancer with exceptional talent. She lost her legs in
an accident when she came to Tamil Nadu when here lest were amputated. It looked
as if her fute had folded up. No more dancing feet. No more stage appearances. There
was absolutely no possibility of Sudha coming back to dance, most people
thought. But not Sudha Luckily she lost here legs at a time when Dr Sethi of
Jaipur had come up with his artificial feet to help those who had lost their
limbs . it was to Dr Sethi did not tell her She was asking for the impossible .
instead, he said it would all depend on her. She could do anything with artificial
legs, if she would put in enough practice. And she did return to dancing with a
flourish. She performed to well that none could believe the fact that she had artificial
legs.
Her achievement was so impressive that a film producer decided to use her
life as the base for his next venture ‘Mayuri’
the film in which Sudha actred her own part it drove the nail into to the offin
of the world ‘impossible’
Once upon a time , asking for the moon was an idiomatic usage for referring
to an impossible demand. Yet , man had not only asked for the moon. But sent
manned missions to the moon, making the impossible come true.
IT is is man’s indomitable will which makes the impossible possible. So, don’t
sent limits to your capacity, assuming that a particular task is impossible or
beyond your abilities. Those who have left their imprints on human history had refused
to accept any limits to their capabilities impossible is possible
Quote from the True Charm and power
of Vedanta
Man cannot go beyond his nature, no more than you can jump out of your
body. Man is not mind, be is soul. Man cannot be satisfied by wealth. Man the infinite
dreamer , dreaming finite dreams! The real man is the one Unit Existence
The apparent man is only a limitation of that Real man. The animal man
lives in the Senses. Real man lives in spirit. That is why purity and morality
have been always the objects of religion: a pure , moral man has control of
himself. (II17)
Man cannot live upon words, however he may try. Man will have go to
beyond intellect in the end.
IF HE EXIST
I drive joy There was a doctor in Benaras who
spent 7 minutes in the morning and evening for mediation on God. Knowing this,
his colleagues and friends laughed at him. One day they argued that he was
wasting seven precious minutes on something, which he had been misled into
believing. The doctor replied, “Well, if God does not exist, I agree that I
am wasting seven minutes a day. But, if He exists? I am afraid you are wasting
your entire lifetime. I prefer to waste seven minutes rather than a lifetime.
Why should you grudge me the 7minutes joy that I derive 4m.
