If you think you are beaten , you are;

If you think you dare not, you don’t.

Mother’s Pledge

I will do my part to make our home a happy place of work, play, love, and worship.

Home Remedy For Sore Throat.

Try  this when you have a sore throat. Take Tea  mug and pour honey enough not to see the bottom. Then cut 3 to 5 lemon . Squeeze 6-10 cps of lemon juice into honey. Then fill the mug with water as much hot as you can get it. Stir honey, water and lemon juice well. If you have microwave. Heat it. Other wise add some more hot water. How you tea is ready. Drink it as hot as you can stand it the warmth will help your throat as well.

Why lemon when you have sore throat? Lemon will help dissolve the mucus and bacteria in your throat that is making ti sore. The honey will coat your throat so that it odes not hurt much to swallow as it works. But remember, if you cannot stand sour things you can cut down on the quantity of lemon juice in your drink. But it might not work as well.

The Spirit of Consecration

Whatever thou doest , whatever thou eatest, whatever thou offerest as oblation, whatever thou givest and austerities thou performest , do that as an offering to Me. Thus thou shalt be freed from the bonds of action

He whose works proceed from himself does little good service to God; while he show suffer himself to be guided by the Holy Spirit , does great works ,even in small actions.

Without a spirit of consecration  our life must invariably remain unproductive. It is not that we do not work or that we do not try to do good. but we miss our aim because all our thoughts and actions , to hear real fruit, must be backed by something higher than our physical self. For that reason wise men have the habit of consecrating themselves in all that they undertake. There are two ways of doing everything –one, with small personal ends in view; the other, with the larger end of universal good. Each thing done can be consecrated or desecrated. A selfish aim will desecrated even the finest act. We see therefore that all this field of work  provided good nor bad . it is bad, if it makes us miss our goal. We cannot keep on revolving with the wheel of life aimlessly, we must learn to follow our higher instincts and not be distracted by the voices of the world. We must cultivate a true spirit of consecration.

One day they argued that he was wasting ten precious minutes on something, which he had been misled into believing.
