Humility
When we glance around we see the wonderful creation of God. Everything has its won place, its own significance in the Universe. Such realization creates a sense of humility. We feel we are only a tiny speck. This humble feeling is not self denial. It only teaches us that we must also contribute our mite in preserving what we are enjoying.
Great men like Einstein,Gandhi were humble. They were certain about their knowledge, their goals for humanity, their desires to make the world a better place for people. So humility is not self denial, it is self affirmation, belief in our integrity and dignity as human beings. It is an emotional thermostat which keeps us being ourselves.
As James S. Barrie said, “Life is a long lesson in humility”. In order to learn to be humble and cultivate humility one should be sincere-we should be sincere to ourselves as well as to others. We must develop the ability to understand our needs and the needs of other, ability to listen and learn; we must always have an inner series of values and adherence to them, sense of contentment which leads to a state of peacefulness; strong desire to look for new goals etc. all these ultimately lead one to a state of humility. With this sense of humility you will be a successful hum being with no vain pride.
Self is lovelessness, love is selflessness.
Have a purpose in life and having it, throw into your work such strength of mind and muscle as God has given you.
To be poor and independent is very nearly and impossibility.
The worst of diseases is envy, the best of medicines is health.
You may judge a flower or a butterfly by its looks , but not a human being.
Love Will Come Back to You
Do not hate anybody, because that hatred which comes out from you must, in the long run, come back to you. If you love, that love will come back to you, completing the circuit.
Hard To Uproot Old Habits
An elderly teacher, with a pupil by his side, took a walk though a forest. Suddenly he stopped and pointed to four plants close at hand. The first one was just beginning to peep above the ground; the second had rooted itself well into the earth; the third was small shrub, while the fourth was a full-sized tree.
The teacher asked his young companion; “Pull up the first plant”. The body did so easily, using only his finger. “Now pull up the second”. He obeyed but found the task more difficult. “Do the same with the third”. The teacher asked . the boy had to use all his strength to uproot it “Now”, said the teacher, “try your hand with the fourth”. The boy put this arms around the trunk of the tall tree and could not even shake it. “This , my son, is jut what happens with our bad habits. When they are young, we can drop them easily. But when they are old, it is hard to uproot them though we struggle very sincerely”.

as is a tale, so is life; not how long it is, but how good it is , is what matters.
It is a great wonder , how this eternally pure Supreme Being got entangled in the snare of maya. It is a conspiracy of the wicked. Senses, mind and intellect that has brought upon this miserable condition on the supreme Self.
I drive joy
There was a doctor in Benaras who spent 5 minutes in the morning and evening for mediation on God. Knowing this, his colleagues and friends laughed at him. One day they argued that he was wasting ten precious minutes on something, which he had been misled into believing. The doctor replied, “Well, if God does not exist, I agree that I am wasting ten minutes a day. But, if He exists? I am afraid you are wasting your entire lifetime. I prefer to waste ten minutes rather than a lifetime. Why should you grudge me the 10 minutes joy that I derive from? I am not robbing you of your joy; why should you rob me of mine. He asked. The critics were silenced. –Baba- Chinna Katha
