Music Shape Our Personality
Music can cross national or political barriers. It can put you in a trance, make you happy or sad. All depends on what music you play or listen to. The party or temple too, selects music that suits an occasion or a season-music that enlightens the mind and inspires the soul.
Music can heal headaches and depression. Often we have tuned our radio when we were dejected and felt refreshed as a result. Music can lift our spirit and paint life with bright colours.
How does music help? Musical vibration give effect to nervous system that moves voluntary or involuntary muscles-heart, glands, etc.. Appropriate words added to music increase its efficacy; classics played on suitable and proper instrument will have medical value.
A good piece of classic an transport us nearer to Divinity . it can make our emotions more tender and more expressive. We feel as though our heat is being cleansed of all impurities. Animals and plants too respond to music.
Music which has come down to us through generations has a remarkable influence in shaping our personality. The manner in which we encourage and practice music is an indication of our progress.
No one is as deaf as the man who will not listen.
