Keep Trying Till You Succeed
If you check the list of Fortune 500 company bosses, you would find that many of them never even finished High School Education.
Look around, you will find that all the “well educated” invariably do not get to the top. They often end up working for someone less “intelligent’ and ‘less educated” than themselves. Why/
There are a number of reasons for this condition. Some ‘well educated’ and intelligent” persons analyze a particular opportunity and find all sort of reasons why it does not work. By comparison, the “less educated’ one just comes in and does it and succeeds! The reason is that he is too busy to do anything else. It never occurs to him to sit around and waste his time contemplating all day. He has no doubts and has an “ I can-do” mentality.
These well educated persons suffer from over-talents. This means that he is good at most of anything he takes up. He can achieve proficiency of anything but he does not work at it consistently with persistence. He doesn’t know which of the many paths t take. Once he takes one, he changes the direction as soon as the going gets tough.
By comparison, there are some ‘less educated’ who are only good at one thing and can do nothing else. Through focusing relentlessly on this one quality, they get astonishingly good results.
“Well educated’ won’t stop to do little things. They wont touch things that are beneath their dignity. They think that once they have a degree, the world is theirs for the asking.
Simple persons by comparison will do whatever it is to reach their goal. If their goal is money, they are single minded about it. they will just keep beating at it until they finally succeed. They are just too busy to stop. They just keep going and going! They don’t know when to stop and one day, they end up richer and more successful and these ‘well educated” ones end up working for them!
Well educated person thinks the world owes him a living . He thinks something like “I have got a degree but I could not get a break. I am talented but I am ignored . You have either got to know someone or have money. And I don’t have either. “
Here is a simple fact the “less educated” know that the ‘ well educated “ one usually don’t success requires constant effort, robust common sense, a set goal. Persistence to achieve the object and will-power to withstand failures an setbacks.
You need ‘definiteness of purpose”. You need to decide on the one thing you really want and stick to it, until you get it. Most people simply cannot do that. That is why they end up dissatisfied and unhappy.
These “Well educated” ones don’t even use 105 of what they have got , while “less educated” give it all.
Don’t be over-sensitive. Take chances. Get defeated once in a while. Regard everything as a learning experience. Keep on trying and you will succeed.
You are only what you are when no one is looking
Wise Thoughts
All truly wise thoughts have been thought already thousand of times; but to make them truly ours, we must think them over again honestly, till they take root in our personal experience.
Silence is one great art of conversation
Just remember –when you think all is lost, the future remains.
Common And Uncommon
In a free society all mean re common in their rights and opportunities. They are frequently uncommon in their individual capacities to contribute to the common good.
A Man Is As Great As
A man is as great as the dreams he dreams.
As great as the love he bears;
As great as the values he redeems.
And the happiness he shares.
A man is as great as the thoughts he thinks,
As the worth he had attained;
As the fountains at which his spirit drinks,
As the insight he has gained.
A man is as great as the truth he speaks.
As great as the help he gives.
As great as the destiny he seeks.
As great as the life he lives.
It is true with cheerfulness or good temper the more it is spent, the more it remains.
BE BRAVE AND WAIT
Be brave; be true and wait!
How long?
Who cares how long or how short
Time is not our end;
Time is not our aim;
Nor waiting, our goal.
Yet wait and watch;
For time will bring ripening to thy soul.
I drive joy
There was a doctor in Benaras who spent 5 minutes in the morning and evening for mediation on God. Knowing this, his colleagues and friends laughed at him. One day they argued that he was wasting ten precious minutes on something, which he had been misled into believing. The doctor replied, “Well, if God does not exist, I agree that I am wasting ten minutes a day. But, if He exists? I am afraid you are wasting your entire lifetime. I prefer to waste ten minutes rather than a lifetime. Why should you grudge me the 10 minutes joy that I derive from? I am not robbing you of your joy; why should you rob me of mine. He asked. The critics were silenced. –Baba- Chinna Katha
