Today’s Determination.

The way you view the day ahead on getting up in the morning has very must to do with your chances of success and happiness. So start right now with the following determinations;

A new day lies before me. I may be happy or miserable but i shall choose the former.

Regardless of the circumstances. I see myself relaxed at all times. To overcome all difficulties.

Today i shall make it a point to be cheerful , looking for he pleasant and beautiful , to be thankful for the countless benefits and comfortable living. Today is a part of my limited life.

I resolved to live it with real ,and to make it pleasurable for myself and others. .

I determine to meet today’s problems as a challenge. I take up my responsibilities with cheerfulness and enthusiasm.

 A Statesman

A statesman is a politician who places himself at the service of nation. A politician is a statesman who places the nation at his service. George Pompides.

Good friends

It is not necessary for good friends to meet regularly . look at the lines of a railway track. They seldom meet , they seldom cross but they always go a long way together.

Another requirements for the creative person is even more difficult to accept; gullibility. The word si used here to mean the willingness to accept , at least temporarily or until proved wrong, that there are certain underlying orderly arrangements in everything outside us and inside us. Creatively often implies the discovery of these underlying arrangements, more than the inventing of new things...

Alertness and disciplines are other requirements. Although they are necessary pre-requisites for productivity in general, they acquire a particular aspect in creativity.

Avoid Depression

Of all the tyrannies of human kind, the worst is which persecutes the mind. If you seek to understand what depression means, both astronomically and economically, it suggests something that lowers, sinks or a slump. Do you think it means differently with a persecuted mind? Even psychologically it means dejection and dispiritedness.

When we pass through a bout of depression, we displace ourselves from our true selves instead of being displaced by some outside force. We withdraw into our own selves. Such a thing happens to us when we are hurt, and disappointed or by the tiny pinpricks or what we call social “slights” caused by someone in our family, office, circle of friends. We are so “think-skinned” that others must be on guard lest offence be taken at some innocent word or act, whenever i see people “depressed” I question myself why i never feel depressed longer like them or sometimes feel like experimenting by forcing my true self into a depressed mood and not letting it out . but i sit back and be thankful to my spirit that heals me faster and helps me bounce back sooner.

Everyone of us is not psychologist, Needn’t be too We must accept a simple fact that many of us have no covering over our ego. We have only the think, sensitive inner layer over it. We need to become emotionally tougher, so that we can simply ignore petty cut and minor ego-threats, we can even have a fair and frank talk across the talk. Open our heart and mind . think of matters from others point of view, build our self-esteem, and more adequate self-image so that we don’t feel threatened by nervy chance remark or innocent act. A big strong man does not feel threatened by s simple slight or a small ‘danger’; a little man does. In the same way a healthy and strong mind, with plenty of self-esteem doesn’t feel itself threatened by every innocent remark. Further, it helps us move on in life by moving closer to people rather than “retreating “into our own cocoon” ie “Self” courtesy wisdom

So the external things can only give us the environments. These competitions and struggles and evils that we see are not the effect of the involution or the cause, but they are in the way. If they did not exist, still man would go n and evolve as God, because it is the very nature of that God to come out and manifest Himself. To my mind this seems very hopeful, instead of that horrible idea of competition. The more I study history, the more I find with man, he would not progress. I also used to think so; but I find now that every war has thrown back human progress by fifty years instead of hurrying it forwards. The day will come when men will study history from a different light and find that competition is neither the cause nor the effect , simply a thing on the way, not necessary to evolution at all.

The theory of Patanjali is the only theory I thnk a rational man can accept . how much evil the modern system cause! Every wicked man has a licence to be wicked under it. I have seen in this country (America) physical who say that all criminals out to be exterminated and that that is the only way in which criminality can be eliminated from society. These environments can hinder, but they are not necessary to progress. The most horrible thing about competition is that one may conquer the environments , but that where one may conquer, thousand are crowded out. So it is evil at best. That cannot be good which helps only one and hinders the majority. Patanjali says that these struggles remain only through our ignorance, and are not necessary and are not part of the evolution of man. It is just our impatience which creates them. We have not patience to go and work our way out. For instance, there is a fire in a theatre, and only a few escape . the crush was not necessary for the salvation of the building nor of the two or three who escaped . if all had gone out slowly , not one would have been hurt. That is the case in life. The doors are open for us, and we cn ll get out without the completion and struggle, and yet we struggle. The struggle we create through our own ignorance, through impatience, we are in tow great a hurry. The highest manifestation fo strength is to keep ourselves calm and on our own feet. Approaches

There is a legend about three men, who carried two sacks each, one in front and one behind.

When asked what wee in his sacks the first man answered, “The sack on my back contains all the kind deeds done to me by my friends; the one in front is filled with the unkind deeds done to me”. It was found that the man made very little progress on the way.

The second man was questioned about the contents of the sacks,. The sack in front contains my good deeds” he explained. “I occasionally take them out and air them, behind me i carry a sack full of my mistakes; and it’s a heavy one, indeed”. This man too, did not make much progress.

When the third man was asked about his sacks , he replied, “The front sack is full of the kind deeds of my friends, I like puling them out and showing them in others. Though the sack is full , it is not as heavy as it seems; in fact, to me it acts as a sail in the wind, pushing me ahead”

And what about that empty sack on your back? He was asked.

“Oh, that “he said “you see, I made a hold at the bottom of it. I throw into it all the insults, the negative remarks, and the misdeeds of people . they slip out though the hole and don’t impede my progress”. Courtesy inspirational quote

One obvious thing in all spiritual characters is that they naturally tend toward renunciation, because  without it spiritual growth is impossible. This idea of renunciation is often misunderstood and the majority of human beings are even horrified by the mere mention of it. Yet we know that it from the very foundation of spiritual life, and we see how all great men have drawn their inspiration and strength form this source. Show me one mighty spiritual character who did not sacrifice all selfishness and go through supreme renunciation. “You cannot serve both God and mammon” There is grate depth of meaning in this simple saying of the Lord, but we cannot grasp it as long as our hearts are weak and impure. What makes us weak and impure? Dependence on matter and forgetfulness fo the glorious spirit within,; the more we love the world with all its vanities and depend on it , the weaker we become.

God is the source of all strength all our strength and inspiration ; but when we forget . him through the charm of matter, we become spiritually blind . love of the world is blinding , while love of God is sight-giving; the two cannot co-exist. You cannot have sincere love for God in yore hart and at the same time fondness for worldly enjoyments. It is impossible , for they are as in harmonious as darkness and light. One only can exist at a time. So the Sages have declared boldly; Give up! Give up the world and love God, the Supreme goal from Whom we have come into existence in Whom we live, move and have our being. Do not forget Him, do not neglect to serve Him. Thoughts And Aspirations

There are as many ways to God as are the souls of men seeking Him. For most of us, perhaps devotion is the easiest and the simplest.

We all are rays of the Central Sun and so we all are equal . There is no great or small, no good or bad, no high or low!

Each and every day, I pray, Help me, O lord, to spread . Thy sweetness wherever I go , Let e glorify. Thee not by words, but by my example my deeds of daily living. Let not my words, but my life speak!

The more you forget yourself, the more you will get closer to God!

Yesterday is a cancelled cheque; Tomorrow is a promissory note. Today is the only cash in hand. Utilise it wisely and well!

O man! You are busy adding to your piled up treasure, when will you scatter it?

Love builds, love binds; love is so sweet. Taste it once an see for yourself!

Use the light that God has given you ; but dim its brightness!

True harmony is of the heart. And the heart is restless until it finds rest in the Lord! Then  it is filled with harmony and peace-the peace that passeth, surpasseth understanding.

In recent years the efforts of the physical research work to prove scientifically the survival of the soul after the bodily death have been of great importance. One of the main difficulties in proving the existence of the soul is that soul is not a by products like all others created things of the phenomenal universe-Therefore, it becomes an almost impossible task to demonstrate it by mechanical means our investigations in this realism cannot be wholly successful unless we are willing to join our rationalism with the intrinsic spiritual instinct latent in us. Of course on this point there are many who are extremely credulous a to whether we can rely on the perceptions which are not demonstrable to the physical sense . The study of the soul, however, is fraught with endless difficulties unless we are willing to ally our unseen and imperceptible inner faculites with our visible life.

Immortality of the soul is the basic principle upon which all religions and philosophies, both ancient and modern, stand and must always stand . There are two ideas which are immediately connected with the soul’s immortal nature, and they are pre-existence and reincarnation. We cannot believe in future existence of the soul unless we are willing to take account of its previous existence. It is strange to observe how many people who are so ready to accept the doctrine of immorality as continued life after death are strongly opposed to the idea of life before birth, but rationally we cannot accept the doctrine of immortality as continued life after death are strongly opposed to the idea of life before brith, but rationally we cannot accept future life unless we are wiling to admit life is the past, for our future life proves that our present life will be its pre-existence.
