Quote from the true Charm and Power of Vedanta
The Secret of Personality
Now, the one thing that all normal people possesses is the ability total. And its mainly by the way you talk that others judge your personality i am not referring to you diction, grammar and tone although these things are important. No i mean essentially what you say . Robber lours Stevenson said that talk is our chief business in the world. It costs nothing in money. It is all profit, it completes our education founds and fosters our friendships and can be enjoyed at any age and in almost ever state of health. It is true but there is another saying that goes: the thing most frequently opened by mistake is the human mouth.”. i think most of us except professional critics of course-would be much better off it we followed this advise. If you cant say something complementary or favorable be calm and say nothing! It is also easier to criticise than to be right or help-so most of us do it. You‘ll improve your personality immediately if you step it.
Another method for improving your personality is to stop talking about
your favourite subject-you –so much
.Talk about the other person and he or she will love you for it . learn also to
listen attentively (even if you’ve heard it before) again looking into the
speaker’s eyes” Listen well and you’ll be given credit for speaking well . and
if you’re a good listener, you will talk better.
Don’t be afraid to talk . Erasmus said that by speaking men learn to
speak. Just try to take a middle ground and give the other person a chance too.
The worst thing you can ever do is to appear bored when someone is talking to
you . Remember this you’re really never bored with others-or anything for that
matter-you are bored only with yourself.
Some other important point “don’t always insist on being so dam truthful. I’d prefer it if people thought more about being kind than being painfully truthful William Blake put it this way. A truth that’s told with bad intent beats all the leis you can invent. Malicious gossip even it is true, will not enhance your personality. So use your judgments and discretion. Mark twin said “Good breeding consists in concerting how much we think of ourselves and how little one think of the other person

Joy is Sorrow, Life is Death

When knowledge and wisdom are absent, facts can
be misused. If there is balance, such a situation does not arise. A balanced
view takes into account as many aspects as possible. This is the anekanta
principle. The one who has perspective of anekanta does not take a
single-dimensional view of things that could twist logic. Restraint and
equanimity are also results of anekanta. Through anekanta, we accept the
coexistence of opposites as a fact.
There is no distance between happiness and
sorrow or life and death, they go together. Sometimes one feels happy and life
seems bright, and sometimes one feels sad and life seems miserable. Where is
the distance between water pulleys? It is one single chain. The wheels bring in
water, empty it and return.
They work together. Similarly, joy and sorrow
work together. Life and death work together. There is no second that belongs
entirely to life or entirely to death. The first second of life is also the
first second of death. Death can take place even in the first second. Creation
and destruction go hand in hand. One cannot find even one man who has been only
praised, never condemned, or always condemned and never praised. Both go
together.
The balance is maintained. An individual wants
gain but not loss, joy but not sorrow, life but not death, and he wants praise,
never condemnation. He then forgets the universal rule. In this dualistic
world, nothing comes alone. Everything is in pairs. Man is ignorant. He wants
to break the order of anekanta and wants only a single dimension.

.But, if He exists?
I drive joy There was a doctor in Benaras who
spent 7 minutes in the morning and evening for mediation on God. Knowing this,
his colleagues and friends laughed at him. One day they argued that he was
wasting ten precious minutes on something, which he had been misled into
believing. The doctor replied, “Well, if God does not exist, I agree that I am
wasting ten minutes a day. But, if He exists? I am afraid you are wasting your
entire lifetime. I prefer to waste ten minutes rather than a lifetime. Why
should you grudge me the 10 minutes joy that I derive 4m.
