The greatest patience is humility.
The greatest effort is not concerned with result
The greatest meditation is a mind that let go.
The greatest wisdom is seeing through appearance.
Treat your life as a sea, your heart as
seashore, and friends like waves. It never matters how many waves are there. What
matters is how many waves touched the seashore.
Time –Playful
Time is the most playful element because it lengthens the minutes when
you wait for someone, and rushes the hours when you enjoy special moments with
them
The companion of Trees.
The place occupied in our lives by the company of trees is closely knit
into your relationship with Mother Nature. Most of us , at sometime have known
what it was to develop a love-tie with a particular tree. It was the palm you
passed every morning as you made your way trough the local park. It was the
lilac tree in your own back garden which every Spring used to tap on your
shoulder with a spray of purple blossom , as if drawing attention to itself in
its “finest hour” or there was that old Banyan from which you drew new strength
when the widen was wild and the winter bleak. These were more than compassion;
they had become friends, always thee to hold out their own gift to meet your
special need. Courtesy wisdom
Happy the man who early learns the wide chasm that lies between his
wishes and his powers!
God has two dwellings; one is heaven ,
and the other in a meek and thankful heart
More than half of the difficulties of the
world would be allayed or removed by the exhibition of good temper
.
Quote from the true Charm and Power of
Vedanta
Breaking the bondages of all, the chains of all, declaring liberty to
all to reach the highest goal, come the words of Gita, rolls like thunder the
mighty voice of Krishna: “Even in this life they have conquered relativity,
whose minds are firmly fixed upon the sameness, for God is pure and the same to
all, therefore such are said to be living
in ‘God’” “Thus seeing the same Lord equally present everywhere , the sage does
not injure the Self by the self , and thus reaches the highest goal. – Swami Vivekanda
Devoted to his own duty , a man attains perfection. Listen how one engage
in one’s own duty attains perfection. From whom proceeds the activity of all
beings and by whom all this is pervaded- worshipping Him through his own duty a
man attains perfection
One who follows the duties dictated by one’s natural disposition
(Swabhava) will be free from the bondage of those actions, and will gradually
reach the state of freedom from Gunas when Jnana and Bhakti are generated in
him.
Pay as much attention to means as to the end. Work is worship
A person with worldly attachments will experience troubles even in the forest;
living at home with all the sense under control is taps or spiritual austerity,
For one who is engaged in unblemished actions, and free from attachment, the
very home becomes a topovanam a Heaven.
But,
if He exists?
I drive joy There was a
doctor in Benaras who spent 7 minutes in the morning and evening for mediation
on God. Knowing this, his colleagues and friends laughed at him. One day they
argued that he was wasting ten precious minutes on something, which he had been
misled into believing. The doctor replied, “Well, if God does not exist, I agree
that I am wasting ten minutes a day. But if He exists? I am afraid you are
wasting your entire lifetime. I prefer to waste ten minutes rather than a
lifetime. Why should you grudge me the 10 minutes joy that I derive 4m.
