Creative Discipline

As  a scholar said the voice of parents is the voice of gods. for, to their children they are heaven’s lieutenants. The present day children raise their brows when we advocate what the playwright had stated. Hence the differences of opinion between parents and their wards.

There always will be a battle between authority and freedom of thought . its variation in the household is the authority of the parents versus freedom of expression the children emphasis’, children have hope and the future on their side: adults on their.

Open-mindedness and understanding sans punishment strengthens the relationship between parents and children. Parents must give good example and inspire reverential attitude in children. And all those instances of charity which endear each other-sweetness of conversation, affability, frequent admonition-all significations of love and tenderness, care and watchfulness must be expressed.

Towards children; that they may look upon their parents as their friends and patrons, their defense and sanctuary, their treasure and their guide.

The affability of parents is also a kind of discipline executed on the child, who secretly craves guidance, though defiant the child appears.

Discipline is more a test of the adult who uses it then of the child who receives it. Understanding and self-respect are the guiding keys to creative  discipline. These values will reach a child’s heart, letting him know that the effort is to guide creatively without ill will. Creative discipline creates a partnership between parent and child. It establishes meeting between the self-respects of the adult, who has already made mistakes and the self –respect of the youngster who will make mistakes. In creating this atmosphere of friendship and companionship. Discipline reaches its goal. The adult is able to hold on to his self-respect and so is the child.

We , as adults must control the emotions that make us fall-fear and anger and use the emotions that make us successful hopes and fears, ardent wishes and anxious apprehensions are twisted together in the threads that connect the parent with the child.  Courtesy Wisdom
