There are no limits to human endurance and power that with courage
anything can be achieved, Napoleon clung to the belief that no task was beyond
his capacity to achieve, that the word impossible ‘ should not find a place in
his vocabulary. It was this firm conviction which guided him all the way
through
Once upon a time , climbing the Everest was considered beyond human
capacity Mallory and Irwin, to mention the first two who died while attempting
an ascent on the Everest, refused to subscribe to the idea . They fell they
could put their all against the hazards of the climb. They knew the risk involved
in the enterprise l they also knew the dictum, ‘Nothing dared, nothing achieved’
They were swept away by away by an avalanche. However the spirit of adventure
did not die. It continued to burn bright through an elite band of people .
again and again, expeditions were launched till, at last, Hillary and Tenzing
Norgay stood atop the highest peak in the summer of 1953 they had made the
impossible possible.
A women climbing the Everest: the very idea seemed foolish. Yet , Junko
Tabei of japan thought other wise, She felt , deep within, that want man could do,
woman could do as well. And she turned the impossible into possible when she became
the first woman to scale the Everest.
Others clung to the belief that they can overcome anything. Helen Keller
overcame her physical distillates and became a well known figure because she
fought against heavy odds. Nearest home, we have sudha Chandran, the young girl
form Bombay , an aspiring dancer with exceptional talent. She lost her legs in
an accident when she came to Tamil Nadu when here lest were amputated. It looked
as if her fute had folded up. No more dancing feet. No more stage appearances. There
was absolutely no possibility of Sudha coming back to dance, most people
thought. But not Sudha Luckily she lost here legs at a time when Dr Sethi of
Jaipur had come up with his artificial feet to help those who had lost their
limbs . it was to Dr Sethi did not tell her She was asking for the impossible .
instead, he said it would all depend on her. She could do anything with artificial
legs, if she would put in enough practice. And she did return to dancing with a
flourish. She performed to well that none could believe the fact that she had artificial
legs.
Her achievement was so impressive that a film producer decided to use her
life as the base for his next venture ‘Mayuri’
the film in which Sudha actred her own part it drove the nail into to the offin
of the world ‘impossible’
Once upon a time , asking for the moon was an idiomatic usage for referring
to an impossible demand. Yet , man had not only asked for the moon. But sent
manned missions to the moon, making the impossible come true.
IT is is man’s indomitable will which makes the impossible possible. So, don’t
sent limits to your capacity, assuming that a particular task is impossible or
beyond your abilities. Those who have left their imprints on human history had refused
to accept any limits to their capabilities impossible is possible
Quote from the True Charm and power
of Vedanta
Man cannot go beyond his nature, no more than you can jump out of your
body. Man is not mind, be is soul. Man cannot be satisfied by wealth. Man the infinite
dreamer , dreaming finite dreams! The real man is the one Unit Existence
The apparent man is only a limitation of that Real man. The animal man
lives in the Senses. Real man lives in spirit. That is why purity and morality
have been always the objects of religion: a pure , moral man has control of
himself. (II17)
Man cannot live upon words, however he may try. Man will have go to
beyond intellect in the end.

I drive joy There was a doctor in Benaras who
spent 7 minutes in the morning and evening for mediation on God. Knowing this,
his colleagues and friends laughed at him. One day they argued that he was
wasting seven precious minutes on something, which he had been misled into
believing. The doctor replied, “Well, if God does not exist, I agree that I
am wasting seven minutes a day. But, if He exists? I am afraid you are wasting
your entire lifetime. I prefer to waste seven minutes rather than a lifetime.
Why should you grudge me the 7minutes joy that I derive 4m.

Having lived a reasonably contented life. I
was musing over what a person should strive for to achieve. Happiness. I drew
up a list of a few essentials which i put forward for the readers appraisal.
First and for most is Good health. Ifyou do not enjoy good health you can never be
happy . Any ailment however trivial will deduct from your happiness.
Second, A healthy Bank Balance . It need not
run into corers but should be enough to provide for creature comforts and
something to spare for recreation, like eating out, going to the pictures,
travelling or going on holidays on the hills or by the sea. Shortage of money
can be only demoralising. Living on credit or borrowing is demeaning and lowers
one is one’s own eyes.
Third, A home of Your own. Rented premises can never gives you the snug
feeling of a nest which is yours for keeps that a home provides. If it has a
garden space, all the better. Plant your own trees and flowers , see them grow
and blossom, cultivate a sense of kinship with them.
Fourth , An understanding companion, be it your spouse or a friend , if
there are too many misunderstandings, they will rob you of y our peace of
mind., it is better to be divorced than to bicker all the time.
Fifth, lack of Envy toward these who have done better than you in life;
risen higher, made more money, or earned more fame. Envy can be very corroding,
avoid comparing yourself with others.
Sixth , Do not allowed other people to descend on your for gup sup . by
the time you get rid of them , you will feel exhausted and poisoned by their
gossip-mongering.
Seventh, Cultivate Some hobbies which can bring you a sense of
fulfilment, such as gardening reading, writing, painting, playing or listening
to music. Going to clubs or parties to get free drinks or to meet celebrities
is criminal waste of time.
Every morning and evening , devote 17 minutes of introspection. In the
morning 10 minutes should be spent on stilling the mind and then Seven in
listening things you have to do that day in the evening, Seven minutes to still
the mind again and then to go over what you had undertaken to do.
Richness is not Earning more, Spending More or saving more but

the True Charm and Power of Vedanta
Our actions are nothing but the manifestation
of our thoughts and therefore we must learn to think correctly. If our thoughts
are spiritual, then our work necessarily will be so in accord with universal
law that we can never do anything injurious to ourselves or to others.
Those who constantly work with this spirit, knowing that they are instruments
in the hands of God, come to near to Him that they can never go astray.
Wherever we may be placed, let us not cut ourselves off from the higher Source.
Let us not think that we are puny mortal’s let us to think that we have no work
to do in the world. Rather let us believe that we have a great work, because
were are children of God Shiva. We all have a distinct mission in life and we
must carry out that mission through proper understanding and right action.
Thus the religion of work or Karma Yoga
teaches us how we can consecrate every bit of our activity to the Supreme; how
e can perform our duty with freedom and love, avoiding the beggarly attitude of
expecting return or recognition. When the right understanding of the lawdawns in our heart , the even the humblest
form of activity many become acts of worship and lead to the highest spiritual
attainment. As the Lord declares i the Bhagavad Gida; “He who worketh for Me
alone, hath Me , who is freed from attachment, and beareth enmity towards no
creature , such a person attained unto Me”

Direct your thoughts, control your emotions
and ordain your destiny.
We must toil to achieve what the quote above
says. Build your own life. Be a benefit to yourself and to all mankind. Build
from within by directing your thoughts ad controlling you emotions. You can do
this as you search for, find and follow your success system that never fails.
To get help from without , extract the good
where you can find it. And this starts from within: the right mental attitude
towards persons, places, things knowledge , customs , beliefs –be they y our
own or others. Probe yourself and find whether your future is behind you
because of an unseen wall that you have built so strongly within you that it
prevents enlightened ideas from breaking through. Perhaps it is… perhaps it
isn’t . to sense whether your future is ahead of you or behind you, you have to
eliminate the existing unseen walls-negative habits and undesirable thoughts
and actions-and strengthen and build positive habits-good thoughts and deeds.
For character is keystone to success. You can steer the course you choose in
the direction of where you want to be-today, tomorrow, or in a distant time yet
to come. Choice is yours; you hold the tiller.
But where are you? Now is the time to find
out. And now is the time to check your habits of thought and actions. For these
have brought you to where you are now. The thoughts you think and the things
you do now will determine your future destination. Are you on the right course
to get from where you are now to where you really wan to be?
The process is applicable to both an
individual, and society or a nation as a whole. An individual and a family from
the smallest unit of a society. A state or a nation . in order to build a
strong individual, thereby a familya
society and a nation, good character is important. An individual with a strong
character becomes an assets in the process of building a mighty nation. So let
us begin to strengthen our roots because character is the one common
denominator of all personal qualities that insure a truly successful future to
all.
Quote from
the True Charm and power of Vedanta
If there is too much violence today, let us
regret it, but not assume that it is inevitable. Violence is not natural, it is
unnatural. And because it is unnatural it can be cheeked, even eliminated. It is
possible to have a society where violence is more an exception than the rule.
If there is a provocation, a cultured man may either ignore it, or may never
express what he feels. He may merely smile and put to shame the person who
provoked him.
Man has come a long way since the time be
followed the rule ‘Eye for eyes, tooth for tooth’ . He now knows it is better
to forgive. If he forgives he wins. He is judged not by his physical strength,
but by the largeness of his heart. Others may wrong him, but he will keep
quiet. If he does to retaliate, it is not because of weakness, it is because of
his convicted the man is essentially one and by hurting others he hurts
himself. In the larger interests of humanity he would much rather have himself
hurt than hurt others. He may be put down as a coward, but he will not mind. To
him the welfare of his fellow men is his first priority. he wants to live for others.
Only man can thing in terms of making as a
whole. No only that, there are individuals whose concern includes even animals,
insects, and vegetables. They feel one with everybody and everything. To them
the world is once single unit, it is like a human body where one diseased cell
can paralyse the whole system. Swami Vivekananda truly said that even a single
atom could drag the whole universe behind it!
The fact has to be admitted that we all are
one and we must think and act accordingly. This is true pragmatism. We cannot
continue to think in terms of races and countries as we have so long been
doing; we may stay separate geographically, politically, even economically, but
behind all such divisions there should be the feeling that we are one and we
are interdependent. If there is trouble in any part of the world, the whole
world is likely to be affected . Spiritual leaders may be aware of this, but
the political leaders have to grasp this and frame their policies accordingly .

Practical
Tips for Facing interview
List out the companies that interest you and
short list it as per your eligibility.
Sent them your bio-data with a covering
letter showing your desire to join them.
Try to
study the annual reports of the companies and get all information. A company
will always see wether a candidate has the descried potential of their company
While preparing your bio-data .
Never give wrong information,
Never give half truth.
Your bio-data should be slightly different
from others a piece of art.
The language should be grammatically correct;
not spelling mistake and should be original .
Do not mention any negative points.
Enclose a pleasant looking photograph.
Once you receive an interview call, send a
Thanks Letter’ to acknowledge .Thereafter, collect information about the
company either by interacting with some person of the company or through
reliable sources.
Make an index of the required documents and
file it suing a click file and not a punch file. This is to help you give the
right documents to the interviewer during the interview without wasting time.
If the interview is at a far off pace , try
to reach the place one day earlier. If it is in the same city try to reach only
15 minutes early and not before.
Sober clothes are ideal but it should be best
decided as per the profile of the job. For men, it can be formals and for
ladies a light make up can do.
The interviews of today are very different
from what they were five ago. An informal atmosphere is created to bring the
best out of the candidate.
If you do not know a question posed to you,
frankly say that you do not have any idea about it. Your frankness will be
appreciated. And to answers that you know, try to be to the point and truthful,
if any question asked irritates you, try to be calm and maintain a sense of
humour.
Keep in mind as to why one should take you.
Because you have been short listed for the
interview
Because you are reasonably qualified to do
the job that will be assigned to you.
Because of mutual need.
Because you do not want a job but a career
with the company.

the True Charm and Power of Vedanta
Womb to the
Tomb
Undoubtedly , youth has a beauty of its own.
Its beauty is the beauty of creative power. Of both biological and spiritual
potential, whereas the beauty of advancing and old age is the beauty of
serenity attained through experiences; it is the beauty of growth in mind and
spirit which is far superior to the beauty of mere flesh. Those who have been
nurtured in religion from childhood, manifest with advancing age a power and a
glow which is hardly ever seen in youth. Where others feel frustration, boredom
and disgust in old age, those who practise spiritual disciplines experience
sweetness and joy in spite of their failing body. Through spiritual discipline
they have come to experience to the depths of their being an awareness of the
ineffable, . Spiritual joy far outweighs the loss of physical pleasure.
The real man is not the body. He is not the
mind. He is the Atman. Only religion brings one this awareness in vivid
experience. With this penury experience one becomes a liberated soul. Such a
soul experience unalloyed bliss and happiness . one radiates peace. Light and
sweetens.
Even if a man is not liberated in this life,
whatever merit he earns in his life through practice of religion stands him in
good stead in the next life. He starts the new life at an advantage in body,
mind, and circumstance. There is the Hindu teaching . while tenting an
impermanent body. He who does not acquire moral and spiritual excellence by
austere discipline of mind and body, out of his foolishness, shall have to
regret his fate when he passes out of the body. …
The inclination to vice is not a freak of
chance, it is the effect of man’s previous acts, if in this world men enjoy intellectual
eminence, physical charm, muscular strength, reigning heroism, enjoyable wealth
and happy progeny, they are certainly derived fro their previous good deeds.
It is a spiritual fact that Vedantatic
religion not only helps us from the womb to the tomb but also beyond death.
