Take Courage And work on
Go on bravely . Do not expect success in a day or a year. Always hold on to the highest, Be steady. Avoid jealousy and selfishness. Be obedient and eternally faithful to the cause of truth, humanity and your country and you will change the world.
Take courage and work on . Go on remember patience purity courage and steady work. So long as you are pure and true to your principles, you will never fail. Mother will never leave you and all blessings will be yours.
True progress is slow but sure. Work among those young men who can devote heart and soul to this one duty-the duty of rasing the masses of India Awake them.
If a man writes a better book, preaches a better sermon, or makes a better mousetrap than his neighbour, though he builds his house in the woods, the world will make a beaten path to his door.
Little Knowledge is Dangerous
When invited for a private conversation after a rich dinner, a half-read woman said, “No, I am full, I cannot take any more.”
Little knowledge is a dangerous thing. It is better to plead ignorance and learn than to pretend to know what you do not know. Do not be ashamed to ask and learn. Remember , we are all ignorant on different subjects.
A newly married woman giving her first order to the grocer said. “ I want four pounds of paralysed sugar two tins of condemned milk and a pound of desecrated codfish.
The grocer wrote all there requirements down without a smile. He then asked. “is that all, madam? We have some very nice horse radish that just came in” “That would be of no use to me , she replied “We don’t keep a horse” Do not pretend to know everything when you know very little or nothing.
People who educate children well are more to be honoured than people who produce for the latter give them life alone but the former give them the art of living well. Learning affords more lasting and varied delights than acquiring wealth.
Sometimes it happens knowledge is not put to good use. Students often go to college to adorn themselves with some degrees. A visiting professor was being taken around the big university campus . he was very much impressed with what he ahead seen. He asked how many students. He had thee “Well , I would say about one in hindered, replied the Dean thoughtfully.
Quote from the True Charm and Power of Vedanta
As we are now , we have very little control over ourselves; even this body which we cal ours refuses to obey us and we are constantly driven hither and thither by the undisciplined forces of our nature. But one who has perfect control over the body is not made restless by his physical energies; instead of distracting him, they serve t bring him serenity and freedom, for they become constructive , not destructive elements in his evolution. Sri Krishna declares in the Gita “He indeed is a truly happy man who can withstand the impulse of greed, lust or anger even before he is separated from this body” And this represents a greater manifestation of power than when we make another person obey us. The man who desires to rule must begin by ruling himself. He must prove that he is the master in his won dwelling house. Instead of allow in his physical organism to dictate his course of action, he must make every part of his body subordinate to his will.
Positive thinking is affirmative thinking. It is a way of looking at your problems and trying to solve them through constructive action. It help syo9u build on your strengths overcome your weakness it helps you to focus on the good thins in life, and serves as a magnet attracting everything good around you to strengthen your self-confidence.
Each of us is endowed with myriads of talents and capabilities. Fortunately some of us recognize them earlier and start nurturing them. For some , it takes sometime to realise what they are chiefly interested in, and what they are capable of . once this realisation dawns what is required is a concentric effort and positive thinking
The next important factor is time. You must learn to master Time but let not. Time Master you. The other hurdles that stand between you and positive thinking are fear and worry. Try to erase these two negative aspects and cultivate self-reliance, love, imagination, enthusiasm and sense of humour.
To help achieve all the above, practise the art of Mediation. Keep telling yourself that you are endowed with the power to accomplish everything you desire.
Remember only positive mental attitude can translate your wish into action and a new Successful You will emerge.
But, if He exists?
I drive joy There was a doctor in Benaras who spent 7 minutes in the morning and evening for mediation on God. Knowing this, his colleagues and friends laughed at him. One day they argued that he was wasting ten precious minutes on something, which he had been misled into believing. The doctor replied, “Well, if God does not exist, I agree that I am wasting ten minutes a day. But, if He exists? I am afraid you are wasting your entire lifetime. I prefer to waste ten minutes rather than a lifetime. Why should you grudge me the 10 minutes joy that I derive 4m.

Laugh and Be Healthy

Laugh and Be Healthy
Human blood contains receptors which receive signals from the brain. So , in a happy man, the receptors receive a signal of happiness from the brain and pass them. Then the process of healing is made faster. Hence, the more yo laugh, the healthier you become.
By smiling, laughing and wearing cheerful expressions, we strengthen the immune system to prevent and fight diseases. .
If tension, stress and anxiety make a man sick, then happiness, cheerfulness, contentment and joy should help a man cure his diseases.
As for old age, “It is a state of mind. If a man’s mind continues to be fresh and accept ideas he is not old”.
“If hope lives within his heart and he continues to look ahead. He is not old. If the spark of love lives within him and he continues to expect the best from life, he is not old”
People today need a sense of humour to laugh often. How? Dada Vaswani comes up with few suggestions.
“Get up in the morning with a smile on your face and say . “ Good Morning Lord “ See that your face always wears a smile . You must laugh as often as possible.
Develop a sense of humour, a humour which brings blessings to oneself and others and not the kind which will hurt others and not the kind which will hurt others. Learn to laugh at yourself. It is easy to laugh at other’s weakness but you must learn to laugh at you own. Always look on the bright side of things. Feel joy in everything that the will of God’s mercy in everything that happens. Always be positive in your attitude towards life. A man is his won friend and his own enemy as none outside can do any harm. If you are happy make others happy. This happiness that goes out of your will coe back to you.
“Laugh and the world laughs with you”
Wisdom to Know The Difference
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change those things I can and wisdom to know the difference.
Better Living condition
Whoever you are, the efforts you make to promote good government and better living conditions can have far reaching effects on a great many people around the globe.
We shall never be without A Friend.
You may become poor, and friends may pass you by;
You may lose your office, and flatters may no longer throng your path.
Your beauty may fade, and your admirers my leave you.
You may grow old and become ill and appear useless to the world.
No one may seem to care for you, but it is not thus with God you serve.
When He loves. He always loves.
If He regarded you with favour when you were rich. He will not forget you when you are poor.
Therefore , we are never without a friend.
Man is The Master
Man is the master of his own destiny . You yourself make your destiny by the power of your thought. you can undo it if you like all faculties energies and powers are latent in you. Unfold them and become free and great!
Quote from the True Charm and power of Vedanta
As long as we identify ourselves with this ego or our lower nature , we can never transcend delusion or ignorance. Therefore we must subdue our lower self by surrendering it to the higher Self. Let that higher Self. Or The God within, take the lead in everything. The true devotee says; “Not I , not I , but thou, I am nothing . what can I accomplish? The sooner I can resign myself to thy will, the better. “ the Gnani or philosopher declares; “I am not this body. I am not the sense. I am none of these thing. I am He. I am that which is formless, deathless , eternal, unchangeable. One is the dualistic point of view, the other the monistic; but both lead to the same end.
But, if He exists?

Fast and Consistent will always Beat And steady.
All of us know about the race between the tortoise and the hare. The moral of the story was. Slow and steady wins the Race.
But the story continued….. The hare was disappointed at losing the race and he did some soul-searching. He realized that he had lost the race only because he and been overconfident. So, he challenged the tortoise to another race. The tortoise agreed This time, the hare ran without stopping, from start to finish. He won the race by several meters. The moral of the story changed. Fast and consistent will always beat the slow and steady.
But the story did not end there. The tortoise did some thinking this time. And realized that there is no way he can beat the hare in a race the way it was formatted. He thought for a while. And then challenged the hare to another race, but on a slightly different route. The hare agreed. They started off. The hare took off and ran at top speed until he came to a broad river. The finessing line was on the other side of the river. The hare sat there wondering what to do. In the meantime the tortoise trundled along , got into the river swam to the opposite bank and finished the race.
The moral of the story changed yet again. First identify your core competency and then choose the playing field. Working to your strength will not only get you noticed, but will also create opportunities for growth and advancement.
The story still did not end…. The hare and the tortoise, by this time , had become pretty good friends and they did some thinking together. Both realized that the last race could have been run much better. So they decided to do the last race again, but to run as a team this time. They started off, and this time the hare carried the tortoise till the river bank. There the tortoise took over the swam across with the hare on his back. They reached the finishing line together. They both felt a greatest sense of satisfaction than they had felt earlier.
Finally the moral of the story was; it is good to be individually brilliant and to have strong core competencies; but unless you are able to work in a team and harness each others core competencies. You will always perform below par because there will always be situations at which you will do poorly and someone else does well.
To sum up, the changing story of the hare and tortoise teaches us many things;
Never give up when faced with failure.
The fast and consistent will always beat the slow and steady
Work to your competencies.
Compare against the situation, not against a rival.
Pooling resources and working as a team will always beat individual performers. ( courtesy ;”Parichaya”)
Quote from the True Charam and Power of Vedanta
It is not the aggressive man or the man with strong muscles who can expect to gain freedom; but the man who reflects. The man who governs his appetites, the man who lives in moderation, the man who has power to forgive, to love even his enemies; for he is the stronger man.
The power of resistance is good , but the power of non resistance is greater. As long as we have the feeling that some one is attacking us, we must protect our interest. But there may come a time when through the expansion of our nature, such feelings will disappear and we shall know that nothing can touch us. One may strike us, or speak angry words. but our understanding will place us so far above the blow or the insult that no impulse to retaliate will rise in us.And this is called non resistance. When our lower nature no longer asserts itself in us, whatever may be the provocation then self conquest is complete.
This indeed is the loftiest thing man can accomplish; for then his kingdom is not confined to a fixed country or people, but he carries his kingdom wherever he goes. Always is he the master. No external condition can disturb him, therefore he lives in eternal peace and happiness. So long as our thoughts ambitions and unsatisfied desires haunt us and made us restless, we know that we cannot find either freedom or peace even by going into the jungle. Self conquest alone will give us that for which all men are seeking . Let us then lay hold on the sword of wisdom and the shield of perseverance, that we may fight with undaunted courage and gain victory over only enemy , the self
