Don’t go through life too fast
A young and successful officer was traveling through a neighborhood street, going too fast in his brand new Jaguar car.
As his car was passing, a brick smashed into its side door! He put on the breaks and moved backward to the spot where the brick had been thrown. He then jumped out of the car, grabbed the nearest boy and pushed him up against the parked car. He then shouted, “What was that all about and who are you? That is a new car and it will cost a lot of money to repair the damage . Why did you do it?”
The young boy was making an apology, “Please , Sir, I am sorry but I did not know what else to do”, he pleaded, “ I threw the brick because none else would stop”, with tears dripping down his face and off his chin, the boy pointed to a spot. “It is my brother”, he said. ‘He rolled off the edge and fell out of his wheelchair. I could not lift him up”. Now weeping the boy asked the surprised officer. “Would you please help me to get him back into his wheelchair? He is hurt and he is too heavy for me”.
Moved beyond words, the officer hurriedly lifted the handicapped boy back into the wheelchair. He then took out handkerchief and cleaned the cuts with care. A quick look told him everything was going to be all right.
“Thank you, May God bless you”, the grateful boy told the officer who was a stranger to him.
Too much upset , the officer simply, watched the boy push his wheelchair-bound brother down the path along the side of the street toward their home.
It was a long, slow walk back to the car. The damage was easily seen, but the officer never took the trouble to repair the slight dent made in the side door. He kept the dent there to remind him of his message.
“Don’t go through life so fast that someone his to throw a brick at you to get you attention!”

Go not to the temple
Go not to the temple to put flowers upon the feet of God, first fill your own house with the fragrance of Love. God not to the temple to light candles before the altar of God, first remove the darkness of sin from your heart. Go not to the temple to bow down your head in prayer, first learn to bow in humility before your fellowmen. Go not to the temple to pray on bended knees, first band down to lift someone who is downtrodden. Go not to the temple to ask for forgiveness for your sins, first forgive from your heart those who have sinned against you. Rabindranath Tagore
Exercise patience with others.
In times of stress our impatience surfaces. We may say words we don’t really intend to say. Or we may communicate through emotion rather than words . we then suffer from hurt feelings and strained relationships. Patience is the real expression of faith , hope and love. Life provides abundant changes to practice patience.
If men will see their own faults as they see the faults of others, verily evil would come to an end in this world.
Right Thinking
Systematically cultivate the habit of right thinking. Substitute good thought for evil thought and the later will be eliminated. Do not compromise with any kind of wrong thought. The only way to get rid of it effectively is through the power of right thinking. If it is a desirable thing to think good thoughts for sometime, it is desirable to think good thoughts all the time. It is just as easy to think right thoughts as to think wrong thoughts. True independence and self-confidence are based upon right thinking.
If you are headed in the right direction, each step , no matter how small, is getting you close to your goal.
Tailor or Lawyer
The employer called his secretary: ”Here ,Meena, look at this letter. I cannot make out whether it is from my tailor or my lawyer! They are both name d Sudhir”.
The note read: “I have begun your suit. Ready to be tried on Thursday Sudhir.
Quote from True Religion always Help
Now to meet the requirements of life in the world, we need to earn money. And in this too, religion is our friend. Even today, honesty is the best policy in the world. He who earns his bred through honest labour may not amass huge wealth, but he will not be dogged by anxiety and fear or exposure. He will have an inner strength which cannot be purchased with money. Those who earn cheap, money, unrighteous money ,not only constantly face their risk of exposure, but before they realize it, the money itself may have vanished and all further avenues of earning closed to them.
A man with a sense of honor and dignity knows that it is the man who makes the money, not money the man. And this sense of dignity is more abiding if it springs from religion.
One without such a background thinks that it is money that makes the man and hence will do anything for money. Al such will eventually suffer.
A healthy body can produce a healthy spirit. – Old Roman saying.
Liberty
What light is to the eyes-what-air is to the lungs-what love is to the heart-liberty is to the soul of man. R.G. Ingersoll
Raise in salary!
Hotel! Owner (to the new waiter); You have been here less than a week and you have already broken more dishes than the total of your three weeks slay. How can you handle this problem in the future?
Waiter : Well, , sir , you could give me a raise in salary!
I would not have any sense
Teacher :Ajit , if you had fifty rupees, and you lent your father thirty rupees, and you then lent your brother twenty rupees, how many rupees would you have?

Selfishness is alien to the bee!
Man has a lot to learn form the bee . it lives for the collective good of the hive. Selfishness is alien to it. Between the bee and the housefly there is a world of difference. The latter now sits on pure edibles and next on filth. Whereas the bee alternates between its hive and fresh flowers. Nowhere else does it land. It is ever industrious . at any moment it offers its life in defense of the hive.

Only one finger
“Twist someone round one’s finger” is an expression meaning that you handle or manage with skill a person and get him to do what you want him to do . it owes its origin to horse riding . A good rider can use only one finger to control the reins of the horse and get the animal to move left or right!

I drive joy
There was a doctor in Benaras who spent 5 minutes in the morning and evening for mediation on God. Knowing this, his colleagues and friends laughed at him. One day they argued that he was wasting ten precious minutes on something, which he had been misled into believing. The doctor replied, “Well, if God does not exist, I agree that I am wasting ten minutes a day. But, if He exists? I am afraid you are wasting your entire lifetime. I prefer to waste ten minutes rather than a lifetime. Why should you grudge me the 10 minutes joy that I derive from? I am not robbing you of your joy; why should you rob me of mine. He asked. The critics were silenced. –Baba- Chinna Katha
