Be Fair
One of Charles Read’s novels bear the title ‘Put yourself in his place.’
We will be the happiest on this planet if we make a habit of living with these five words until the practice becomes second nature to us. These five words, lived, not merely read, will put us on the road to maturity and self-fulfillment, because we will think twice before passing judgment on someone else. Such moments arise when that someone else has a point of view different from ours and wants to stand for his right as we do for ours.
At such a moment of stress when you are overcome with doubt and disbelief, aggressiveness and fear, say to yourself” what would I do if I were in his place”? Fight for your rights if you must, but not out of hatred or revenge. Friendship is desperately needed in these chaotic times. And the first light and glow of friendship with others starts when, at a moment of irrationality, you ask yourself,” what would I do if I were in his place?”
Most important of all, you must have a sense of fair play with yourself. Never denounce yourself because of an error; never become a displaced person because of it. at such a time, ask yourself “would I do this to my best friend?”
My thoughts
“My thoughts”, said the wanderer to his shadow, “should show me where I stand; but they should not betray me where I am going. I love my ignorance of the future and do not which to perish of impatience and of tasting promised things ahead of time.”
Knowledge tempered with experience will become wisdom.
True heroism is not the urge to surpass all others at whatever cost, but the urge to serve others at whatever cost.

Quality needs no recommendation but only needs introduction.

Great things to learn
Humility in success and power, patience and perseverance in failures, are the great things one has to learn. Many get ruined without following this rule!
The Mystic Way
The mystic way is a strange way.
It is hidden and yet not hidden;
It is open and not open;
It is dark and yet not dark.
It is winding and straight, broad and narrow, rough and smooth.
Strange way is this mystic way-
And more strange without a Guide.
Poor wayfarers oft are standard and sit at its very gate, not knowing it is there.
One who leads thee through its mysterious doors is they Spirit Friend.
Trust Him with all they heart;
There is no truer Guide.
Torch of Faith He will give thee, and a staff of Endurance.
When thou art thus equipped and set on this mystic road,
The hidden will be disclosed before the torch of Faith.
All darkness and dangers will cease to be.
Thou who criest for peace , only then wilt though know peace.

I drive joy

There was a doctor in Benaras who spent 5 minutes in the morning and evening for mediation on God. Knowing this, his colleagues and friends laughed at him. One day they argued that he was wasting ten precious minutes on something, which he had been misled into believing. The doctor replied, “Well, if God does not exist, I agree that I am wasting ten minutes a day. But, if He exists? I am afraid you are wasting your entire lifetime. I prefer to waste ten minutes rather than a lifetime. Why should you grudge me the 10 minutes joy that I derive from? I am not robbing you of your joy; why should you rob me of mine. He asked.
