The following are the vital points to ensure excellence in management.
Make every effort to make employees work ‘with you’ than work for you’.
As much as possible, use the words ‘please’ ‘ I am sorry’ ‘Thank you’ ‘You have done a good job”. Motivating your employees enhances their efficiency.

Ever sting Embrace
The stream of my life is ever flowing on, Perchance checked by an impassable rock,
As if blocked for all time its goal.

Good listeners
Good listeners can make better speakers. Active listening will help a person to become the best.
How to be an active listener? Look at the speaker and listen to what he is saying. A little sigh now and hen assures him that you are with him.
You should not leave in the middle of the speech, or toy with napkins, water glassed and such other things. Whispering and murmuring are distracting to the speaker. Do not use this time to do your own work.
Today is ready cash
Yesterday is a canceled cheque- you cannot cash it. Tomorrow is a promissory note- you cannot rely on it. Today is ready cash-spend it wisely.
Think and talk about good things.
When you talk about your troubles, your ailments, your dieses, your hurts, you give longer life to what makes you unhappy. Talking about your grievances merely adds to those grievances. Think and talk only about the good thing that add to your enjoyment of your work and life. If you don’t talk about your grievances, you will be delegated to find them disappearing.

Let me grow for now
A sparrow was pecking at a seed that she has picked up from the village courtyard. The seed slipped from here beak and fell on the ground. The sparrow searched and searched for the lost seed, but in vain. She flew away to find another seed.
A few days later it rained in the village and the land was wet. The seed that the sparrow had lost grew into a tiny plant.
A squirrel moving and leaping friskily in the village courtyard saw the green sprout and came to explore. It smelled good. The squirrel was about to nibble it when the seedling spoke, “Don’t eat me now, dear squirrel, let me grow”. The squirrel went away in search of something else to eat.
The seedling grew day in and day out, soaking sunshine and taking nourishment from the soil. Soon it was a lush green bush.
A village goat searching for food wandered near the bush to feed on it. But the bush begged earnestly with the goat, “Be patient, my friend. Leave me alone for now”. The goat moved away in another direction.
The bush grew into a small tree. A woman who wanted some firewood saw the small tree and said to herself.” Why go far? I will cut a few branches of this tree itself”. But when she came near the tree, it said.” Don’t cut me now. Wait till I am bigger”. The woman collected firewood from another place.
Soon the tree had grown as high as the sky itself. Its branches had spread far an wide. Squirrels and sparrows played about and settled comfortably in the safety of its crown as in a nest. They ate its delicious flowers, fruits and seeds. A whole herd of goats now fed on its green juicy leaves. The dry branches that fell from the tree became a continual source of firewood for the women. In the shade of the tree villagers found comfort from the scorching heat of the Sun. The tree too lived happily in the company of all these friends who defended on it, and on whom it had once depended for its survival.

Reflex Action
A reflex action is one that happens without the person thinking about it. For instance, if you keep your finger unknowingly too close to a heater, you withdraw your hand immediately without even thinking about it. This is reflex action. But when you put the heater away, so that no body gets burnt, it’s your brain which is sending out instructions to your muscles. It means you are thinking. But in reflex action the brain is not directly involved. It is the spinal cord. When your finger almost touched the heater, the pain receptors in your fingers quickly send out impulses which travel to the spinal cord.
From there, some impulses are relayed to the brain. But impulses are also sent directly from the spinal cord to your finger and that is why you pull back your finger. Sometimes we experience an attack of hiccough. We just cannot stop them. We can call it also a reflex action. Vomiting is a very strong reflex action. In fact, hiccough is considered a half-hearted and ineffective attempt to vomit.
To some people hiccough causes a nagging problem. What exactly causes hiccough? Hiccoughs generally start when hot food has irritated some passage inside. They can also start when gas in the stomach presses upward against the diaphragm is the muscular portion between the chest and the stomach. It tightens and pulls air into the lungs. But air can’t go through and therefore, we feel a ‘bump’ at the moment when the air is stopped.
So hiccough is a reflex action of the body trying to get food or gas out of the stomach. Thereby it irritates the diaphragm which in turns affects the passage of air in and out of the lungs. We feel the ‘bumps’ and call them hiccough.
Be not afraid of going slowly, be afraid only of standing still.
In order to succeed , your desire for success should be grater than your fear of failure.
Things turn out best for the people who make the best of the way things turn out.

Slow Me Down, Lord!
Ease the pounding of my heart by the quieting of my min. Steady my hurried pace with a vision of the eternal reach of time.
