Do something you enoy and avoid boredom

There are people  who complain that they are bored in life. Boredom destroys your personality- your emotional, physical and intellectual characteristics.

When  you do an unpleasant task you feel  bored much easily than when you do something you enjoy. You would go off cheerfully if a friend invites you to play your favourite game of tennis which demands more energy . It is clear that any activity can be made interesting  or boring by the way you look at it. To escape from boredom you should make the first move in work or in conversation. While conversing with others ask a question or explore a subject. This will help you to stimulate your curiosity or awaken your enthusiasm. Such a situation would  release you from boredom.

If you go on asking questions – How?Why?Which? When? You may overcome boredom profitably. You may even learn interesting facts hitherto remaining unknown to you . as knowledge grows your interest too grows and you will not be bored.

A hobby is one way of cultivating a special interest in a subject . it is pleasurable pursuit for spending your spare item and preventing boredom. If you take keen interest in a fairly wide range of subjects and learn to develop proper attitude towards other people you will never be bored.

No man can be truly educated or successful in life; unless he is a reader of good books.

First Olympic Games

By relying on literary sources, inscriptions and archaeology, we can write an inspiring account of the original Olympic Games held in Greece in south-eastern Europe  on the Mediterranean Sea;

The ancient Greeks recognised fair play as a rule in sports . but the first Olympics were a super show as they are today for millions of sports fence. The contests were first described in the lliad, a long Greek poem about the Trojan War, thought to have been written by Homer in the eighth  century B.C. They included chariot-reaching, wrestling, boxing, fighting in full armour, archery, discus and javelin throwing. The Greeks also look part in a contest called. Pancratium- a mixture of wrestling and boxing

Discus and javelin throwing were the most popular for all the games as shown by ancient sculpture.

For the complete athletes there as the Pentathlon . It consisted of five events reaching jumping , wrestling, discus, and javelin-throwing High jumping was unknown . there are records of a 15 metre board jump.

The Games held in Olympia and other part s of Greece were given wide publicity to allow athlete to get themselves trained . Spectators came from all over Greece. The Olympic Games lasted seven days and were usually held in the Mont of August.

The Olympic Winner was crowned with laurels (foliage of bay-tree as the emblem of victory) and he became a hero. He was allowed to have his statue built Inside the sacred walls of Olympia.

Two students were found out from their answer papers that they had copied in the examination. One for allowing and the other for copying both were suspended. When asked for an explanation. The students cleverly said. “We studied the same guide and nots and hence answers are same being produced from memory. How can you say sir, that we had committed the violation of examination rules” The principal too was clever . he pointed to the students and said. “ I know it. But for the answers you gave for the 5^th question. I could not have any reason to ask for an explanation.
