How Determined Are You
Life is not all smooth sailing. There are times when we run into rough weather and find ourselves having to cope with difficult people and situations.
Determination enables us to do this successfully. It keeps us trying and brings us through the ups and downs of life.
Try this test and see how determined you are. Answer Yes or No to eh questions before turning to the key.
1. Do you get so busy that you forget the time or the fact that you are tired?
2. Are you so occupied that you do not bother about other people and what they think?
3. Is it extremely difficult for anybody to discourage you once you get along?
4. Would you stick to something if others gave up?
5. Would you stick to it if you knew people disapproved it?
6. Can you say ‘no’ and stick to it in the face of criticism?
7. Would you stand by your decision and not allow other people, including those closets to you, to change it?

One day they argued that he was wasting ten precious minutes on something, which he had been misled into believing. Heaven of Freedom
Where the mind is without fear and
The head is held high;
Where knowledge is free;
Where the world has not been broken up
Into fragments by narrow domestic walls;
Where words come out from the depth of truth;

Always be positive
Once upon a time there were some baby frogs participating in a competition. The target was to reach the top of a high tower. A crowd of people gathered to observe the race. The start-bell rang out. Quite honestly, none of the onlookers believed that the baby frogs could actually accomplish to reach the top of the tower. Words of doubt wee heard from the crowd.
One day one, some of the baby frogs fell off. Yet a few could climb higher and higher. The crowd kept on yelling ! “It is too difficult. Nobody is going to make it !
More baby frogs became tired and gave up . But one kept going higher and higher and he was not giving up ! At the end everybody had given up! At the other participants naturally wanted to know how he had managed to do what others wee unable to do! One competitor asked the winner, what the secret was. The winner replied that he was deaf.
Be positive always! Turn a deaf ear when people tell you, that you cannot reach your goal! Always believe You can make it!!!
Moral- Never listen to people who are negative in thinking. Always be aware of the power of words, as everything you hear and read will interfere with your actions!
We are most nearly ourselves when we achieve the seriousness of the child play.

This is the best day to launch your new ideas and to demonstrate your worth.
Those Who Dare Deserve Credit
It is not the critic who counts, not the man who points out how the strong man stumbled, o where the doer of deeds could have done them better.
The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena; whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood; who strives valiantly; who err and comes short again and again; who knows great enthusiasm, the great devotion; who spends himself in a worthy cause; who, at the best, knows in the end the triumph of high achievement, and who, at the worst, if he fails, at least fails while daring, greatly.
Courtesy is Politeness
Courtesy creates a smooth road everlasting bond. Courtesy is politeness in manners. It is the beginning of friendship. It is a realization that others too deserve the same consideration and treatment that you expect yourself. Simple courtesies are effective remedies to overcome small pains and petty grievances. They make life worthwhile.
Courtesy is thoughtfulness and consideration for the feelings of others. When expressed in time, it contributes to the well-being of all concerned. Impolite and discourteous behavior hurts others sense of self-respect. It might even lead to an irreparable rupture in human bonds. Whereas, courtesy like water cools the anger of the ill-tempered.

Determination
Everyone has some form of hope, desire or dream of attainment. The reason that only few capture the great prizes of life is that this ambition is not strong enough in most people. To achieve anything worthwhile in life, we must have a firm determination that knows no defeat. We must set our sight on the object of our heart’s desire and never deviate from the course we set for attaining it.
Our desire must become a burning desire- a bold will that will never bend. An ordinary desire lacks the passion that is found in burning desire. When we resolve to achieve with this sort of passion, there is nothing that can hinder us from reaching the loftiest height of accomplishment. Failure is not to be found in the vocabulary of such determined persons. Victory alone can satisfy one with a burning desire- Such a strong will to win is one of the secrets of success.
Make life respond on your own terms. Decide now what is that your want out of life formulate a workable plan for its attainment. Resolve with such intensify that it will be your beacon light to success.

Magic of Enthusiasm
Be enthusiastic and the world smile with you. “Nothing great was ever light that shall leas you on your way. Never be afraid of anything or anybody. Talk, think and be enthusiastic. Start and end everyday by thanking God for everything. Let not blows of life break you but be sure that there is a supreme power above us who shall anchor our ship to the shore.
Learn from butterflies, flowers, insects, birds, and others, the art of ‘peace’. God is among these small creatures too and also helps them survive as. He achieved without Enthusiasm – said R.W .Emerson, Practice enthusiasm until you master it. No matter how dark things may appear, be enthusiastic, for it is the soledoes with the bigger creatures. We are all very fortunate to have our parents. Relatives, friends who love us. All this act as a spring-board to the joy and success in our lives.
Every day remind yourself of your ability of your good mind and affirm that you can make something really good out of life. We should remember that God would always take care of those who love Him and trust Him and sincerely do their duty.
Try to do your best and be honest to yourself with dynamic thoughts of abundance. Cultivate a spirit of self-respect and respect for others as well. Pardon others mistakes and misdeeds. Be generous enough to overlook them. Soon, life will work wonders.
Even when the conditions are not favorable go about enthusiastically for your work and you will see yourself climbing the stairs with speed and vigour, bubbling with life.
Develop a helping attitude and always smile amidst your problems. Soon the world shall also smile with your. The inner happiness is a “Joy”. Cultivate it enthusiastically.
The saying goes. “Cowards die many times before their death but the valiant tastes of death but once”. Think brave and be brave. Remember; “No person who is enthusiastic about his work has anything to fear from life”.

Honest Effort Cannot be Lost
A law of nature rules that energy cannot be destroyed. You change its form from coal to steam, from steam to power in the turbine, but you do not destroy energy.
