What is Real Personality

It is our birthright within. Those ho neglect this vital aspect of personality are the killers of their own self, say the scriptures. The people of gross mind and dull intellect neglect their spiritual dimension. Thinking that it will hamper their worldly affairs. They think that it is meant only for saints and sannayashins to lead spiritual life; and they need not have to bother about it. The purpose of human life is to manifest this divinity within. Irrespective caste, creed, sex, colour, position and status. Everyone must struggle to manifest this dimension. Swami Vivekananda sys. ‘If the fisherman thinks that he is the sprit, he will be a better fishermen, if the students thinks he is the spirit , he will be a better student. If the lawyer thinks that he is a spirit, he will be a better lawere; How to do it By removing ignorance. What is ignorance? Ignorance is nothing but the impurity of the mind. The persons of your mind alone can realize the divine . And , therefore one should never deviate from the path of righteousness. There are six enemies ie lust, anger, greed, delusion, pride and jealousy. The moment we drive them away from the mind, the Divine will reflect in that pure mirror of our mind. Just remove the cloud of ignorance and the sun of knowledge will shine froth. How to remove these impurities from the mind?

Thee are four different paths suited to different temperaments. They are; Bhakti oga, Janana yoga, Karma Yoga and Raja yoga. That is the path of devotion, the path of discrimination. The path of selfless action, and the path of meditation. Regular practice of these four yogas will help us to manifest our divine nature removing all impurities from the mind. And therefore every day, we must spare sometimes for prayer, meditation, japa selfless service, and practice of discrimination, which will certainly help us to develop the spiritual dimension of our personality.

Conclusion

A harmonious growth of the physical, the mental, the intellectual and the spiritual dimension is essential for the all round development of personality. Struggle for perfection in all these aspects will ultimately leas us to the development of the real personality. Once we succeed in doing that, there will be a tremendous qualitative change in our lives. A great number of such people will certainly form a better society; and they will raises this nation once again to its highest glory.

Attitude determines the lifestyle of a person and it develops when perception is followed by projection. Positive and negative attitudes are acquired by an individual over a period of time and according to their development, human beings fall into three categories: there are those who imagine and project difficulties in any undertaking even before they start work and end up doing nothing. They are like the car that will not start unless given a push.

The second kind is called Prarambh Shura. They are inspired initially, but give up for lack of perseverance. The third kind is those who become more and more inspired to execute a job, the more challenges and difficulties they face. Even if you are successful, negativity in attitude can crop up at any time for unknown reasons.

Remember: 1. You alone are responsible for your attitude. 2. As is your attitude, so are your perceptions. 3. As is your perception, so is your interaction with the world. 4. As is the interaction, so is the experience of life. 5. As is the experience, so is the quality of life.

Negative attitudes are the result of a weak personality at the physical, emotional and intellectual level. Physical strength can be gained by proper intake of food, and regular exercise. Good health helps us to come out of negativity. Emotional stamina too is a must. One must remember that life is not about being successful, it is also the ability to go through both success and failure with grace. In success, we enjoy, and from failure, we learn.

Choice vs Destiny

Are we free to exercise our will? Or are we just puppets going through motions in life according to a plan, predetermined by asuperior power? Philosophers have pondered over this question since ages. Omar Khayyam thought we were no better than water, flowing willy-nilly, “where Destiny with men for Pieces plays”. Khayyam’s stand is predeterministic. He hints at an unalterable script.

In contrast to this is the traditional view of Judgment Day of Judaism, Christianity and Islam. This view is based on the conviction that each person is wholly responsible for his conduct in life. The Hindu view of karmic transmigration also supposes choice for individual human beings.

Cheiro the palmist compares the human condition to that of a pendulum in motion. The view is close, in a way, to the law of gravity that recognises the interdependence of all bodies, animate and inanimate.

 What suffuses all beings and objects is te Alhl Pervasive: Vishnu or Vidyut in Sanskrit, the Ultimate Truth. To participate and submit to the collective rhythm of creation is to attain to bhakti, Narada conveys in his Sutras. This marks progress towards humility. Adi Shankaracharya calls it being harmonised, the samachitta.

The scope of individual will is to choose between confinement to the individual ego, and to submit to the Cosmic Self. Lord Krishna who embodies the Cosmic Self puts it succinctly in the Bhagavad Gita, “The worshippers of other gods go to them; My devotees come to Me.”

How do we know that the Divine has heard our prayers?

Q- How do we know that the Divine has heard our prayers and we don’t need to pray for the same anymore?

The answer for both these questions is the same. If you pray for one cause how do you know that it has reached the Divine?

Your heart will tell you that. When you offer your prayer completely, there is peace within your heart. All of a sudden you experience completion within yourself. There is no more desire to pray for the same thing afterwards. The moment you experience this within, that there is no struggle for it, know this well that your prayer has reached the Divine. He heard it. So when you know that He heard it you don’t have to repeat it again. The prayer has already gone.

Importance of Breakfast

Breakfast is a very important part of our diet. If you are in habit of skipping your breakfast , here are some very important reasons why you should not.

Break –the-fast, after  going hours without food you  finally get up in the morning and need lots of energy of kick start the day. Only breakfast can provide you with this energy . if you’re of those how’re still not having your breakfast, now is the time to change that habit . here are some extremely important reason why!

Researchers have found that those who eat breakfast tend to maintain and lose weight. though people skip breakfast in the hope of losing weight. They tend to eat more during lunch or even choose unhealthier options later on which leads to weight gain. Skipping meals leads to a hyper insulin response when calories are consumed later on. That means the level of insulin in blood is more than the glucose level which can lead t metabolic disorder. This turn results in fat accumulation.

Your blood sugar level drops down in the morning . you need food that can provide your energy to get through the morning. Body needs fuel to keep it running and the night is the longest gap in the refueling process. To make sure your metabolism keep son going you need to have something within two hours of waking up.

If you have breakfast you can burn those calories early! How is that? Well, instead of going hungry till lunch and then hogging on something loaded with calories with fewer hours left in the day to burn it. Consider refueling yourself early and getting enough time to burn those calories.

If you have kids. You always want to set a good examples for them. By having breakfast on time you will show the quality of leadership by example.

There are foods which we have only as a part of our breakfast like cereals, fruits and milk. If you bypass your breakfast you might never get those nutrients.

Apart from all these reasons to have your breakfast, there are few things you should always keep in mind.

Never have dessert for breakfast, it will cause blood sugar loss later on and you will tempted to eat even more

Read the labels carefully, even if it says nutritious’ look into the details and understand if your body needs that kind of food to start the day.

If you fail to realize God while living in this body, then, O my mind you would have missed wonderful opportunity and brought great destruction upon yourself.

The delusive power of God has played such a clever game that the King of the Universe forgetting his Real Nature has become a tiny jiva subject to all type of changes.

O my mind-please listen to me. Hw whose glory is sung by all is always present in the cavity of your heart. Be always with Him and enjoy His company
